Hardcore Gamer: Over 9000 Zombies! fans will be pleased to know that a map editor is now included with the game. This zombie tower defense/top down shooter hybrid was enjoyable enough without one, but allowing players to unleash their creativity is always a good thing.

TwoDashStash: "Over 9000 Zombies! is a top-down-shoot ‘em-up with an 8bit aesthetic. It is ultra-violent as the player can rack up tens of thousands of kills in one match. This, together with the music and the feedback from firing weapons makes the game incredibly satisfying to play. However, it is plagued by desynch issues, meaning that playing online with friends is almost impossible."
