Turn off the lights, turn up the volume, grab your teddy, and brace yourselves for the most frightening titles to hit our consoles and PCs over the years…

Capcom has announced and released the original Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 on Steam.

Capcom recently released Resident Evil Requiem, and it's been so successful that it's seemingly dragging along every other Resi game with it.
That's certainly true in the UK; the latest physical retail charts have come in, and the top 10 includes five Resident Evil games across all platforms.

This month, unleash brutal finishers in the reimagined Mortal Kombat 1, swing through Marvel’s New York skyline as the iconic web-slinger in Marvel’s Spider-Man, or gear up to repel swarming alien forces in Earth Defense Force 6. All these titles and more are available in August’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup. That includes Sword of the Sea, which releases day one into Game Catalog. Meanwhile, Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis bring retro survival horror to PlayStation Plus Premium. All titles will be available to play on August 19*.
What kind of teddy do we grab?

I don't consider Doom 3 to be scary, except for that one time the big spider coming down made me jump.
Some good entries on the list like FEAR and Suffering, didn't personally think Doom 3 was that scary or jumpy but maybe I'm just 'ard
Doom 3 and Dead Space were, to me, more tense than scary. There were things in the dark, and I had to locate, identify, and destroy those things before they jumped out and took a huge chunk of my health off. The Resident Evil series has always been more campy than scary to me but that's just me. FEAR and Silent Hill though, were pretty creepy, the latter more than the former.
