Good on Respawn for continually improving their game.

I might even play a few rounds or two.

But when Halo, Sunset Overdrive and the next Call of Duty drop, oh boy!!!

DoctorJones4222d ago

Yeah The One has a lot going for it at the moment.

Spinal4222d ago

Wait.... Still no new guns? So players still stuck with the same old 3 Rifles?

generalthadeape4220d ago

It's not about the size of the guns-- it's what you do with them-- hahaha!!!

Lost interest in this game long ago. I can't really bring myself to go back to it, but kudos to Respawn for the dedication.

Hoffmann4222d ago

While it is nice there is new content coming, maybe this game should have had it at its launch already.
A game with the potential to form a series should start as strong as possible I think.

It had a pretty damn good start. Sold well, critically acclaimed, it just lacked staying power for a lot of people.

After 4-5 rounds of Titanfall, I'm typically pretty drained. It's so fast paced that I actually find it a little exhausting.

"After 4-5 rounds of Titanfall, I'm typically pretty drained. It's so fast paced that I actually find it a little exhausting."

Weakling! lol..im just kidding.

I still play Titanfall. Looking back, my only wish is that they did a better job of locking down 60FPS. Aside from that I love TF, to bits.

Pandamobile4222d ago

I come from a background of fast paced, competitive PC shooters, so my TitanFall play style is adapted from my 3 top Team Fortress 2 classes (Scout, Heavy and Demoman).

At the end of a match, I'll typically have at least a 3-1 pilot kill-death ratio, with probably 30+ grunt kills and 3-5 titan kills. That's a ridiculous amount of action for a 12 minute game, so by the end of it, I literally have to take a breather and relax my tensed up upper body muscles lol.

Even having 300+ hours of TF2 Scout under your belt doesn't prepare you fully for the pace of Titanfall.

''New massive Titanfall update has been announced''....nice, from 792p to 900p...lol

WilDRangeRfc4222d ago

pornflakes4222d ago

You will get ps4 exclusive the order in 900p and 30 fps... wheres your problem?

Oh wait i already know the answer... Look on the visuals!!

Remembers my on Driveclub :)... dont care how shiat this game is... it has visualas ;d... lmao!

Frontier Defence should bring a decent bit of replayability, you can play it on EVERY map, including the DLC ones, and theres a 3 star system for every map on every game mode, I played about 5 rounds of FD and I have yet to get 3 stars on a single map :P

Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.

MadLad1344d ago

Lol

All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.

Venoxn4g1344d ago (Edited 1344d ago )

XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games

I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games

An ode to Titanfall: The last twitch shooter I'll probably ever enjoy

Windows Central: "Titanfall 1 is being sunset, taken off storefronts by EA. While the servers remain live for now, one has to wonder just how much time it has left. I look back and pay tribute to the last "twitch"-styled shooter I ever truly loved."
