It's fun with friends and the gameplay is tight unlike anything not bungie this decade , and since the good old days of quake 3 . I do want more addition and changes , but that's a good enough set of reasons to keep on going . At least for a while

I stopped at Level 23 because it just became a waste of time. Would play 2-3 missions in a row, that I already beat 3 times before, and not get a single good drop, or any light armor to help me level up more. I'd just get angry about it. 2 hours of playing for NOTHING. When they took away the Loot Cave, they lost me as well. It was the only thing making leveling up bearable.

I stopped playing due to its deeply repetitive nature and mp didnt help much because that didnt change the repetitive feeling of the game.Most mps keep me going and each game i play due to different competition made the rounds feel fresh, but this just really feels monotonous, even during mp.

What really killed it were the weekly strikes or whatever strikes you couldnt get matchmaking in, i swear whoever didnt think of adding matchmaking to that is a complete idiot.

Now i have been playing Drive Club every nigh and am a level 20 with a club level of 12. Regardless of its issues it is a very fun and good game imo.

Because Borderlands pre-sequel came out.

These articles from people who have played the game for 50 or 100 hours are just dumb. If you played that much, you got your money's worth. Don't bitch about it.

Stop with the lack of content shit too. This isn't an MMO. This game has more content than most other FPS.

Because a slot machine gets boring after a while.

That's what Destiny is, a mechanically capable FPS with meaningful content like story, memorable campaign, characters, set pieces and world building removed and replaced with an RNG loot system designed to be cynically addictive.

I'm going to go back to Destiny at some point. As a Bungie fan since Marathon, I can't bring myself to trade it in, and am interested to see how they tweak and expand on things.

What is clear is that we've all played it.
We all paid our money.

And judging from the Agree / Disagree ratio on most Destiny articles we are split almost 50/50 between those who like it and those who don't.

IMO Destiny feels like a tech demo. It needs a story, enemy AI, more varied missions and enemies, a proper loot system and more distinct good guys. And then I'd call it a complete game.

On the verge of lvl 28 on my hunter and lvl 13 on my new titan..

Lack of matchmaking in a lot of content annoys me.. But overall its been a blast..

I stoped playing Destiny a lot, now just play it once a week. Why?

Because I'm stuck in level 29 and after playing the vaul of glass around 30 times, the game refuses to give me the armor I need to get to level 30 so get bored and I don't have any other significant activity to complete.

One can really waste a lot of time in Destiny if you don't have a plan to level up.

Really, all you need to know is to rely on RNGesus as little as possible.

Hit 20...Do the vanguard bounties and daily every day. Get to vanguard rank 2. Buy legendary armor. Wait for Xur to sell an exotic helm, buy it. Whole process will probably take about 2 1/2 to three weeks. And you are level 28 and doing the raid...Where its all RNGesus.

its just a naked game....i stoped playing because theres no point to keep going ! even if i get to lvl 30 90% of the other hunters look just like me with the same weapons playing the same missions not to mention how random it is when you find stuff.

I don't see the problem and I have three lvl 30's and im still playing shooting for that flawless raider trophy. yall just need the right group and get some I have over 20 exoctics no excuse.

I find it funny that people complain that the game sucks but they sucked in 40 or 50 + hours. I find it even funnier when someone says it is waste of 60 dollars. You basically payed a dollar an hour for entertainment. If you think that is not value than what is. If i go to the movies with my wife and buy popcorn it costs me 40 dollars or more. SO, yes i got my money worth.

I quit because I quickly got through all of the unique content and was only left with repetition so that I could better gear so that I could repeat the same levels better. What's the point?

I always thought Guitar Hero was boring the button clicking with the plastic guitar also got annoying. I played it twice with friends but I was also drunk and stoned. There are people who like Destiny but I never liked the game.
