For those that have already heard the news, older gamers prefer PS3, young gamers like the Wii and those in between prefer the 360.
What you may not know is that there is very little difference between PS3 and 360 gamers. This article explores the findings more deeply to look into the hearts of gamers everywhere and ask "are we really that different?"

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

The Wii is now a retro console. Let’s get nostalgic about an often maligned system.
Crazy to think the WII is to the Switch 2, as the NES was to the WII back then. 20 Year difference.
My wife asks me to bust it out (heh) everyone once in a while to play bowling and tennis with the kids. There was a ton of slop on it but some good stuff as well.
Wii was great but boy howdy did it cause Microsoft to go on a dark walk with the Kinect and the disastrous XBox One launch that they arguably never recovered from.
Not nostalgic for me.. I was there.. anyone who wasnt a little kid realized it was a gamecube with shit tacked onto it, it was the "joke" system and was well below even the switch in terms of comparing it to the latest machines at the time. The machine was well loved by young people and "casual gamers" who now remember it 20 years on, or in most cases more of its sales came in the 15-20 years ago range not right at launch- but again its not nostalgic for people who were "gamers" then really, just for those who ended up with one in their house, the games , graphics, interface and online features were archaic already in 2006.

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
Yeah...we're not different. We actually have one big similarity.
We both have patience.
Xbox owners have wait for their consoles to come back from the repair shops.
Ps3 owners, have to wait for their delayed...everything.
Edit: Xbox owners also have to wait for GTA dlc, Alan Wake. We also had to wait for HDMI, and semi-reliable consoles.
I was trying to make a joke, not to poke fun at a single one.
At the end of the day,we're all just people with a passion for gaming.

I never actually thought we were that different.
PS3 and 360 games are noticeably different. When you view a PLAYSTATION®3 game, you are getting true high definition visuals added with the piece of mind of a stable console that will not defect. Xbox 360 only upscales the content on DVD-9 which is why most multiplatform games on 360 usually have washed out textures, frame rate hiccups and jaggies.
On a behavioral standpoint. PLAYSTATION®3 owners tend to be more mature and humble about their affiliation with the victorious console. Whenever you hear the opening music when first booting up your PLAYSTATION®3, you know for sure you will be enticed into gaming bliss. When playing the critically acclaimed titles or simply navigating through the easy to use Xross Media Bar, you get the sense of what next generation feels like. The PlayStation Community grows better by each day as each member shows great hospitality for one another
Microslaves are extremely sensitive to comments and find themselves responding in irrational manners. Similar to what you would hear on Xbox Live. Using N4G.com as an example, Microslaves will take personal offense when Dark Sniper preaches the true gospel of the state of the industry and presents nothing but facts.
Xbox Live is considered to be the pig sty of gaming. A wasteland where all racist children gather to display immature hatred towards one another and uses force by numbers to scare away any new members. If purgatory exists, then it's right here on Xbox Live.
This is living. Only PLAYSTATION®3 and it's friendly community gives you the feeling like you're in a second home.

LOL I didnt know that younger games are 18-24 years old. Which is where the data provided by the actual research stop according to the charts shown in the original story.18-65 was the total age group they tracked. Now I personally dont consider anyone under the age of 24 an adult but surely we can find something other than "younger gamers" to call them
