yeah. i havent bought one day one since mw2, then sold it in 2 weeks. but i cant find a online fps for my ps4 im excited for so this will hold me over for a while. im buying it. it doesnt look bad at all. but im not goin hardcore with it. we'll see. `

Unfortunately, I continue to buy them because my best friend lives in another state right now, and it's how we hang out. He loves CoD. Tried to get him into Battlefield, which he did like, but old habits die hard. I will probably buy this one too. I know, I'm the guy CoD haters hate. I can live with that. I just don't expect much from the games, and then I'm happier. 2014 has been a lame year for me anyway in terms of games... it's that weird new console gen/last console gen crossover, so I'm still waiting for something to really impress me. 2015 looks sick though.

X1 gets CoD and PS4 get Destiny. In the end you will get the DLC, you just have to pick your poison when it comes to consoles.

True. But the difference is on Xbox you get a month of exclusivity with CoD and with PS you get at least a year of exclusivity with Destiny.

I didn't find it funny either but it has nothing to do with be lax. The author has a different opinion on things and didn't find it funny.

It's one of those commercials they'll probably okay in-store, it's so annoying. -_- no wonder the employees are so rude lol after this and their God awful watchdogs commercial playing for 8 hours a day I would be angry at the world too

I still prefer CoD based on historical settings or in near future settings(like CoD: Ghost) ... even though I liked infinite Warfare's campaign ... it was top notch

I quite enjoyed it but I think black ops 3 was the high point.

Modern warfare could be if a few tweaks are made and the new maps are good.

Story wise.. black opps 3 was all over the place. Modern Warfare story is so much more cohesive and actually makes sense.

I quit that campaign after about an hour. All I remember is some crappy robot drone combat R2D2 thing that you had to use. I didn't make it past that.

For me the Black Ops installations have always been the high peaks in terms of PVP mode. Black ops 3 campaign was pretty bad though. Advanced Warfare's campaign was pretty good, one of the best ones - but PVP was bad!

This is one of the few I never got to play the SP on. Redbox’d ut. Multiplayer was done if the worse I’ve ever played. Maps were bad. I’ll have to go back and at least give the story a go

It's too bad the game is impossible to find games on with Xbox One and PC. It is my favorite one this generation. I love it so much! But... no one plays it. So it makes it difficult to continue enjoying it :(

Great campaign, great zombie mode, and an okay multiplayer mode. Most of the multiplayer maps looked great, but I only liked 50% of them, due to the way they tried to force verticality into the gameplay. The limited edition Advanced Warfare Xbox One was a pretty slick looking console too.

I thought the campaign was a great comeback after ghosts but the mp bored me to tears.

It was also the beginning of the end for future warfare cod games at this point I didn't want blops3 because I just spent a year running around with the exosuit I wanted something new but it began a trend aw, blops3, iw before we finally got WW2 which was actually my highlight this gen as far as cod goes.

To top it off aw locked it's zombies mode behind a paywall which I found disgusting

Negative. Advanced Warfare sucked. And what do you mean "Ghosts didn't do anything new with mp"? It did a plenty new. It introduced “special orders” and completing them during a match would sometimes completely change the terrain of the battlefield.

Yeah it was a nice addition but i don't really see it talked about or used in future games the way perks, killstreaks, zombies, create-a-class, pick 10 etc. did for the series

I think on an overall level sure.

Blops 3 had better MP but the campaign was messy
Modern Warfare's MP has issues as i understand it but the campaign was spectacular
IW MP was crud but i highly enjoyed the campaign
Blops 4 had great MP but no campaign
Ghosts was average in both

I think AW at the very least has a solid campaign and solid MP but it's not the best in those individual areas.

I liked Infinite Warfare much better and honestly its weird for to back to this game, I enjoyed it quite a bit back when it released but considering what we now know about Kevin Spacey (an actor who I admired greatly) I don't think I can ever play it again.

Game is underrated. The campaign had a lot of clever, detailed map design to flow with the abilities of the various exo suits. The characters and story were pretty good too, and I was sad the game ended so soon right when things got crazy as hell at the climax. I think a sequel would've been made if so many people didn't complain about the advanced movement that they couldn't/wouldn't adapt to.
