I emailed Bill Gates!

Xbox Live Nation's resident writer "the canuckilla" wrote up an opinion piece on his email adventures. From the article: "Read Rings of Death. Unreadable disks. 360's turning on their owners ala the Transformers movie. I was sick and tired of it. I wanted results. I emailed Bill Gates... Yep. It's true. I did, and guess what? The guy DOES in fact READ his emails. Now, I hate the word NO. I hate it from anyone. Call me an Alpha male, stubborn, persistent, greedy... I don't care. I get my way."

the guy who emailed Mr.Gates ,,iz an ucking HATER ...just buy an Elite and quit being cheap.....or he could be one of those SONYNUTThugers ..the 360 iz where it IZ ....just my opinion

Why is it that people believe the Elite is safe from the RROD?

ChampIDC6544d ago

Why do people feel they have to butcher the English language? I think that's a better question.

No Xbox is completely safe from the RRoD, and this guy definitely has a valid point on how he was being treated by PR.

It has nothing to do with model of the 360 but what motherboard is in it. The Falcon 360's are not prone to the same failures the older mobo's are. Nothing is perfect but there are far less problems with the Falcon chipsets. You can get yourself any model of 360 but make sure it is a Falcon chipset and you shouldn't have any problems.

What i don't get is how is this guy reviewing games and only has a gamerscore of 8400.

Maybe I should quit my job, and start my own site. Call it, "Why your game sucks!"

GiantEnemyCrab6544d ago

He uses a seperate account to review games. I know MS has PartnerNET which is like a clone of live that dev's/journalists use.

Just a thought.

AlphaNerd6544d ago

...because my Gamerscore is actually only 5600. :)

dachiefsman6544d ago

this guys profession is reviewing games. Even if you play half of the library out there you should have more than 8400. I have only played 40 some games and I don't work to get achievements.

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

DarXyde32d ago

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
