Overview
Tail Drift in its simplest description to give you an idea of the game is “Mario Kart” of the skies (dare we say it). Imagine flying a roller coaster with wings through some rather delightful scenery while bashing your competition out the way! Full of fun albeit a bit short!

Games called Tail Drift has been released on the App Store as a premium title. Unfortunately the game has switched to a free to play model due to slow sales.
With the game now being a free to play title, the Tail Drift mechanics have been slightly altered. Players will now require fuel to race, which can be bought or restored by waiting, the interface has been tweaked, the tour system has been changed to offer a more linear experience and some of the tracks have also been rebalanced.
TouchArcade: Right Pedal and Attract Mode's airplane tube racer, Tail Drift, has just been turned into a free-to-play game. The planes now require fuel in order to race, which recharges over time, and can be refilled by spending coins or through watching incentivized video ads. The UI has been streamlined to make it easier to navigate and quicker to access the plane menus. The tour system has been changed to replace the branching paths available initially with a simpler linear system, with some tracks' difficulties rebalanced.

VRFocus - While a range of companies are currently developing their own solutions for input with the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD), a reasonably competent device already exists in the Kinect body tracking motion sensor from Microsoft. Now a new videogame that combines the two devices has launched a new demo. That videogame is Tail Drift, from Attract Mode Games and Cratesmith.
Kinect has proven to have so many uses, including beyond the gaming community, i.e. medical field.
