Once the title mentioned that this was the worst game he ever played I ignored reading it.
I cant read a article that is easy to predict that is going to be filled with nonsense.

Spec On the line for me personally was a solid game. I really enojyed the game. It had smooth gameplay, and personality.

This to me was a huge sleeper and a game that went under the radar.

The title should have said "Spec Ops a Huge SLEEPER"

I played it after reading it was an under appreciated gem, it wasn't really, it was an OK 3rd person cover shooter, but far from the worse game ever.

Just because gaming is a interactive medium unlike books and films it doesn't detract from the power of its story telling. in some cases I find it much better. As I'm not reading about someones escapades or watching them progress instead I am them. And in the better games you can be absorbed into this person. Spec Ops did a good job at it. First I'm just another solider in just another shooter, Next I'm shooting white phosphorus rounds at who I'm led to believe are the enemy. Then walking through and seeing the destruction and death I called in. Whilst forced It was very provocative and screamed anti-war movement. But who wants to be made to think playing a video game...

While I do think the game is a little overrated it is definitely not the worst game I've ever played. I'm looking at you naughty bear or the walking dead survival instinct,

It wasn't terrible but but the gameplay was fairly bland and generic. A lot of you are just high on the story and that's fine. But saying a guy with a different opinion of Han your should get his ass beat or has gone full retard is beyond ridiculous.

Whenever someone mentions this game the first and only thing they bring up is story, and that's all there is to this game.

One of the most memorable games i've played. Completely disagree and i worry about the authors taste in games. Ok it wasn't a 10/10 experience but its not often Il max out FPS campaigns. Spec ops hooked me from start to finish.

What a joke! The reasons he gives are hysterical: The story is fictional instead of being based on a real conflict, gameplay isn't as good as Gears of War, and he didn't like the trailer(seriously!). If he thinks this is the worst game ever than obviously he only played a few games.

I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I respect that - but in this case it is just flat out wrong on every level, and this author should probably start looking for another profession as gaming is obviously not for him! (or at least a change in direction considering his previous two reviews were for puzzle games Chip and Mousecraft OBVIOUSLY far superior games to Sepc Ops!! /s)

Also I'd disagree that Apocalypse Now Redux is superior to the original.
