Ex-God of War director David Jaffe has updated his personal blog with a post about the new Spider-Man game intended for the people who are making it. Come and read this...
"Please stop putting Spiderman games in big open sandbox environments where you swing around and do oh so slight variations on 4 pretty dull mission types (chase/race/collect/etc) and then once in a while toss in a boss fight and/or a somewhat unique mission," begins his latest blog post.

FuRuy has opened a Twitter account called “Project Alice” teasing a new game announcement on April 25 at 20:30 JST.

It's important in life to maintain a broad palette when it comes to culture and the arts. Hideo Kojima agrees, as he continues to use video games like Death Stranding to introduce people to music and other elements they might not otherwise discover.

Mojang has partnered with Merlin Entertainments to build the world's first Minecraft theme park in the UK.
He's right but it won't help. This game is already done and it's on to the next one. Dave and co should try to acquire the licence for one year to show us what they can do on Ps3.
How about it, Dave?
why does computerandvideogames.com say ex-god of war director, he may not be with Sony anymore, but he still will be the one to lead the next God Of War game devlopment.. jaja, anyway, go on about the sh!tty Spidey games ;=)
I agree with Jaffe. Seems Spiderman games are all the same, with maybe a few more moves added on and better graphics but the same open world monotonous structure. If I have one open world Spidey game, I don't really wanna shell out another £50 for more of the same.
In my opinion, they should go back to how the PSOne Spidey game was done. Better still, they should use the template of True Crime:Streets of LA. That was an open world game but had a brilliant story that could go off into three different paths depending on the decisions you make.
It would be *really* slick to have some Marvel comic games that were Mature based. Really throw a wrench in your decision making for life and death, justice and morality. I think that would be an awesome direction for the Spider-Man games to go to.
Those who whine about him are just upset because he's telling the truth. Ever heard that the truth hurts?
