GR: That Pokédex won’t complete itself. so before diehard franchise fans jump to conclusions as to who is the real Pokémon master, Nintendo wanted to share new details of its upcoming remakes of the previous remakes of the original Red and Blue Pokémon games. I went to the company's offices near San Francisco to get hands on with Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, though the games weren’t recognizable in the least as I hadn’t set thumbs on Ruby and Sapphire previously and my fandom has waned over the years.
The original names of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire have allegedly been uncovered, with the old names sounding pretty familiar.

Hardcore Gamer: It’s been awhile since we’ve gotten to see characters from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. Years ago the release of Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby were a big hit. Most recently however, you could battle leaders of Team Aqua and Team Magma in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. So, maybe that’s why a couple of new 3DS themes are being released.
