"It's undoubtedly a repetitive system, and one I've never put up with in other Musou games. Whilst I applaud Tecmo Koei's generous games with their array of playable characters - not to mention their love of couch co-op - I've never been able to see one through to the credits sequence before. Early on, after having hammered the B button away throughout an entire stage in an attempt to clear it of the endlessly respawning enemies (a futile effort) I was awarded a new combo; yet another string of B button presses."
