Assassins Creed Unity Exclusive Single Player Gameplay

Ubisoft has released new single player gameplay for its French Revolution-set game, Assassin's Creed Unity.

Same as past AC games? No, it doesn't. If you can't see the much improved traversal mechanics, stealth mechanics and combat I don't know what to tell you. Not to mention the breadth of the customization and the open ended mission structure.

Of course it is going to broadly look like an Assassin's Creed game because that's exactly what it is. I don't know what some of you expect. The game is a huge improvement in many different areas. Games in most series don't see this much change or improvement.

i really hope the raining wheater and effects is like AC black flag. It was so damn great. I will miss the sea... and Sharks...

For everyone below who despises the cloud.

If a developer were to use the cloud then the game would have to always be online. If it weren't to be online then the solo-campaign would have to be a lesser experience with less AI or whatever they use the cloud for, than an online multiplayer session that can connect to and use the cloud for whatever benefits it may hold.

Honestly looks no better than previous Assassin's Creed games, apart from the animations being a bit better. No better than say, Watch_Dogs, though.

Oh look, another person who has joined the bandwagon. What a suprise.

I'm sure it'll be a great game, no Assassin's Creed game has been bad, some better than others, though. As far as main characters go, this one looks as bland as Connor (for the record I liked AC3).

I will miss the naval combat, and the graphics are legitimately not much better than AC4. The trees look much better, the faces look much better, the shadows look much better. And that's all.
The biggest jump is the animation, that's some really, really nice animation they have there.

As for whether it'll be a good game, I expect it definitely will be. Better than previous games? Only time will tell.

You can't be serious. That comment is just...hilariously delusional.

AC Unity is a huge jump up from even AC4, which is already a gorgeous game in its own right. Unity is probably the most graphically advanced game this year.

WTH? The faces look like they're not even connected to the bodies! I seem to be the only one who thinks there is something very wrong with the look of this game.

starchild4253d ago (Edited 4253d ago )

No, I honestly don't have a clue what you are talking about.

The character models, faces and hair are some of the best we have ever seen, and multiple previews have specifically pointed out that fact. Here is just one example: https://www.youtube.com/wat...

Individually yeah they look great. They just don't seem to mesh together well to me.

placiid4253d ago

Looks good to me, im guessing they cant show much then they already have to avoid any spoilers. Can't wait this one

I can't sit here and act like I know these workers financial situations. And I'm sure nobody wakes up WANTING to go to court. But for the sake of the industry, I wish some of these types of cases made it to trial.

Settlements allow companies to continue to do whatever abusive practices they do. While the trials (should the company lose) would actually force real changes for the better.

But again, I'm not in these workers shoes and I can understand them not wanting to risk it.
