VRFocus - During E3 2014 Oculus VR revealed a prototype version of the recently released sci-fi survival horror title, Alien: Isolation, with support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD). Despite the title being playable with the Oculus Rift at a number of events throughout 2014, developer The Creative Assembly has stated that it wouldn't be supporting the device at launch. While official support is possible later down the line, VR enthusiasts have already hacked the title to include support on PC.

An opinion piece on the best Alien games. From arcade Alien vs Predator action to a terrifying Xenomorph stalker, these are the best Alien video games starring Ridley Scott’s chestbursting, acid-blooded nightmare.
Aliens Fireteam Elite was my GotY in 2021, single player was kinda bad but playing that game 3 player with friends was so good and really challenging on higher difficulties
Massive shout out to Aliens Vs predator 2 (2001), a dialup lag filled fun mess in multiplayer and 3 great campaigns

Alien Isolation Grand Mother VR is an all new virtual reality experience for Creative Assembly’s best ever horror game.
I played through most of the PS4 version of the game but stopped because another game came out. I bought it last year for PC with the intention of using the VR mod but haven't gotten around to setting it up. I am glad I waited.
Great game, even better in VR. A little drawn out by the end, but I hope we see CA do something a little different with the sequel.
Sweet. I also rebought this game on Steam for the purpose of VR. I'll have to give it another shot w full immersive controls. I had only tried it out briefly before.
It's funny this was never officially released at retail as a VR game, bc it feels so perfect for it!

Zombie Army VR is creeping onto VR headsets later this month, and here's everything you need to know about Rebellion's latest.
Oh hell no...
It was freaking awesome at E3! I can't wait to play the full thing in VR!
Its very exciting times when some of our favourite franchises could potentially have official VR support as standard in the not too distance future. Its true that many games already have it officially but I'm thinking more along the lines of games like Halo, Far Cry, Bioshock, Destiny and any 'cockpit' games like Forza, Gran Turismo and No Mans Sky!
Also, I think its no coincidence that new versions of GTAV will have a first person mode. Wouldn't surprise me if there was talk of internal testing of a first person mode for Uncharted 4 too.
Hell yeah. VR is really happening, folks! It brings a tear to me eye *sniff*
As a DK2 owner myself, AI is a must buy title now that native VR support has been discovered.
