Last month, IGN had the opportunity to share some introductory information regarding Valhalla Knights 2, an action RPG sequel that will see a release on Sony's portable later this year. Today, they have further details on the environments contained within the strife-filled world, along with some slick production art from the developers.
So not only will Valhalla Knights 2 feature real-time battles, various job classes and a story revolving around a fallen goddess, but it looks like it has some charming art backing it up as well. This series is destined to be quickly forgotten in the west (it actually has a strong niche in Japan), which is a pity, because there’s a lot to like about these games. They're not for everyone, but JRPG fans looking for something a little different would do well to try these out.
