If Konami didn't take time to optimize their game on X1 most likely means they rushed other things about the game. The game won't be anything spectacular.

In conclusion, don't argue more and to buy the PS4 version. :D

does this really need to be stated? i presume that everyone saying ps3 looks the same as xbone due to 720p/60 were just trolling. xbone will probably just be a blurrier cersion of the ps4

Nonsense.. Visuals are terrible on both xb1/ps4. No way this game couldn't be 1080p on both, what a farce..

But in fairness it will sell them a lot more this way as more ps4 owners will buy it now due to the resolution difference.

it still embarrassing after almost 8 years the Xbox One has games the same resolution as the ancient PS3. Xbox fanboys will defend this yet care enough to complain about it and trying to justify their massive brick of a console. you would think the Xbox One being that big compared to the PS4 it would have better graphics but that isn't the case.

That guy demanding Adam to answer why it's 720p on XB1. He already know the answer. XB1 is weaker. I'm sure they tried to get PES to run at 1080p but it was probably unstable.

Well Xbox fans might as well get used to it. The only games that will be 1080p 60fps on Xbox one is exclusives and multiplats that Microsoft pays extra out of pocket to reach that standard. Simply put because of the development architecture of XOne, 1080p 60fps may not become a standard until near the end of this gen. It's only going to become more noticeable in 2015 where the games are going to be much more visually demanding. That's not to say the games won't run great and still be fun to play but people just need to accept the fact that Xbox one is at a disadvantage in this particular area and their is no secret sauce for this weakness.

Resolution doesn't equal graphics. People seem to think it does. 1080p PONG still looks like Pong.

I will never buy this on XB1 never. I think it's correct to say that all multiplat are kinda defacto exclusives from now on. ie. when I but lord of rings PS4 I won't be thinking of it as also on XB1 due to PlayStation having better version permanently.

Fifa looks better and is 1080p 60fps so the only reason this is running in 720p is because of a really crap engine not the XB1

Come on peeps, any xbox fans still trying to fight the good fight, just give it up.

The PS4 is...

a.) More powerful in hardware
b.) Easier to develop for
c.) Larger install base

With these three points always at the forefront, there is no way any multi platrofm developer is going to put the xbox as lead console, only developers paid to do so (COD) will.

Now with two games from Fox Engine running gimped on the xbox, it is blazingly clear that this engine is NOT optimised for the xbox one but IS optimised perfectly for the PS4. Of course Konami could tweak the engine to run better but that is both time and money, which they clearly don't have.

This equates to the fact that the majority of developers, especially on a shoestring budget will not be able to optimise their games with the time required to get good or matching results on the ps4. Maybe as these new engines get patched over time to support each consoles unique features the output on xbox will improve but at the same time so will the PS4, so there theoretically will always be a gap.

Flipping the switch and to counter what this Mr Adam Bhatti says though, bottom line is that if there is time and money then if the developers wishes it, MS will assist in getting them to achieve the target Res/FR by sending some bods down to them. We have seen this with Diablo and with Destiny, which both had sub-HD resolutions on the xbox.

This shows me that the xbox is a very powerful machine, capable of outputting 1080p @ 60fps, but it aint easy!
The PS4 is a walk in the park, it seems. It looks like the majority of multi-plats will follow this formula for a while, when DX12 is released there should be at least some benefit to the development on xbox which might help in this resolutiongate debacle.

Im happy that I own both consoles, but I can understand why xbox fans are mad about this, because it is annoying no matter how you look at it. The worst is when sony fans have to rub salt in the wounds which will inadvertently bring out the trolls. So many goddamn children posting stupid sh1t. I wish people would take responsibility for what they type and not justify their hate, bile and indecency with "well when the 360 was out you guys said..." stop bringing up old sh1t people, we will never move forward if we keep holding onto old arguments.

PES 2015 PS3/XOne 720p "Doesn't Mean Visuals Will Be The Same. of cause it won't be the same, the PS4 has the better hardware so they'll be the best. Ask How 1080p Equal Great Game? 1080P should be the rule not the acceptation, we're in the 2nd console gen of HD, well neither have delivered for me, when I hear HD I expect everything to be 1080p, ideally 60fps but 30's ok.it doesn't make the game great being at 1080P that's story, game play. lack of bugs etc but it should be what people get as a rule not the odd acceptation

Ahh god this is hilarious. So we have seen the xb1 produce better visuals than this game at higher resolution and frame rate. Hell wolfenstein was 60fps. Yet we get the back and forth whining you would expect from a bunch of 5th graders whining in gym class.

Are developers lazy? Sure, sometimes. Is that why this game is running at a laughable resolution? Probably not. Its most likely a cross gen engine running unoptimized on both ps4 and xb1...oh wait it ID a cross gen engine but as we know it's HIGHLY optimized for ps4 and not the Xbox

Let's also remember Japanese developers have not exactebeen known for producing great code these last few years except for a couple studios like kojimas and they didn't make this game. The Xbox needs more attention to get results just like the ps3 did last gen. The ability to get those results exist but it required effort not all devs could afford to do.

As I started with this I'll end with it. we have seen things the xb1 is capable of. Things that make most of the posts on this story stupid fanboy nonsense. So why doesn't everyone buy whatever version they want and stop trying to make yourself feel good about your purchase. You own ps4? Awesome! Me too. Doesn't mean you made the right choice.
