Gauntlet is about as straightforward as it gets when it comes to being a dungeon crawling RPG. You gather together with three other people, either locally or online (or a mix) to shoot, bash, and fireball a sea of monsters coming at you, all while collecting treasure along the way. But the game quickly progresses past its presentation, and much like a group of players coming together, becomes something greater.
