- They'd have to redo the script to remove all references to the PSP, Bluray, CELL processor, Apple Cinema Displays, Mac Pro's, Mac Mini's, and Macbook's in the game. Not to mention replacing the iPod with the Zune.

All the games on it are pretty much overrated. Everyone talks about gears, I sold it like 2 days after I beat it.

I really wish these journalists would give the MGS4 on 360 a break. Anyone who has played the game (I got to play a large chunk of it) knows that it won't come to the 360. There are just too many references in the game to Sony products and the fact that the game has a ton of HD video (not ingame engine produced) that would be a real challenge to fit on a DVD9.

After playing it for awhile I can't say I will miss the game all that much. But I can definately see what the fuss is about and I agree the game is a work of art.

Never going to come to the 360, mark my words.

why is an e3 reveal list chokeful of stuff not happening or wishes ? It doesnt give a good image when the 360 already good stuff to look forward to without acting so hungry for ps3 stuff

If MGS4 was to come to the 360 there is a very very good chance that it would not look as good and would suffer from very long load times and massive amounts of slow down at key points in the game. Ninja Gaiden 2 had slow down a few times in the game and there are points in MGS4 that have just as much if not more going on then Ninja gaiden 2 did and MGS4 looks far better then Ninja Gaiden 2. Not to mention there is a lot of Sony Product placement in the game as well and while that it itself may not mean much it may be Kojima-sans way of saying it isn't coming to 360.

the ps1 version of MGS had a ps1 on otacon's desk, then later on in the pc version it was a PC running Microsoft windows, and then later on after that the GC version got a Gamecube right on otacon's desk......they even went as far as putting mario and yoshi in there.

If any Xbox fan wants MGS4, they'll just have to swallow their pride and by a PS3. Kojima stated in a interview with Gamespot earlier this month that some of the things in MGS4 were ONLY possible on the PS3.

Plus there's "other" little hints and stuff in the game that basically tells you that it's staying on the PS3 like that Codec Conversation with Otacon about Blu-ray, the Cell Processor, and not having to swap discs.

I believe is possible to do a port but is not that simple MGS 4 has a lot of PS3 and PSP references the game that may not believe the M2 is control by a PS3 controller for god sake and there are 3 if not 4 PS3 in the game and not to say that they say on ht loading that the game is PS3 exclusive and cannot be done on any other system and they said that blue ray makes this all a possibility so is not just a port the have to take out the apple and all of the PS simple It will cost more money that it will not be worth it by the tame it comes out it will be 2009 maybe late 2009 and by then we will have new games to play and MGS 4 will be forgotten and replace by new games so if you want to play MGS 4 just a PS3 as simple as that if you want to play gears buy a 360 very simple.

I would definitely say it will come to the ps3.. Because anything the 360 can do the ps3 can do.. Now on the other hand this game was made for the ps3 and it shows. This game could never be made on the 360.. Maybe 2 or 3 yrs from now with a lot of hard work it might be able to run on the 360 "MIGHT".. I have yet to see any 360 game that looks anywhere close to MGS4 or uncharted. Mass effect tried but look it all the issues in that game and its now where close to the quality of mgs4..

At n4g back them was stinking of xbutts. it was like 5:2 back then but here we are today sony droids 8;1 because most of those xbots lost their console to the red rings like me. Other have multi console and should just stay out of the war for being a freaking flip flopper and then there was the loyal Sony Droid stating facts while every xbutt destroyed his spirit whenever a delayed was announced. But he never went to go and buy the xbox 360 no matter how cheap they made that piece of crap.

Unfortunately, I doubt that MS will announce that MGS4 is coming to the 360 at E3. Let's assume that MGS4 is a timed exclusive. Even if it is, there is probably an agreement preventing any announcements for six months to a year. Look at Bioshock for example. Maybe around Christmas or next year's E3 they'll announce it, assuming it's a timed exclusive, of course. But chances are though, it will remain a PS3 exclusive. That's OK. "D-day"...LOL has come and gone, and Gears 2 creeps closer and closer.
