Hey Lameguy, remember when we played video games for FUN?
You people & your desire for academy award winning stories in shooters make me laugh,... It's a FPS for Christ sakes...The best shooters of all time weren't on that level due to story, what makes the most fun fps's, is the way the game controls, feels, how the weapons feel to fire, how the weapons feel translates when bullets rip through enemies, or explode there heads, like pumpkins....as well as the environments, draw distances, graphics, sound, effects, & basically just that feeling of satisfaction & fun.... Destiny delivers on ALL these fronts, I care not what anyone says, as I own the game, & I love the way the game feels & plays.... It is definitely a AAA+ fps, that unfortunately has one HUGE, HUGE, HUGE, fault, an Achilles heel of epic proportions.....& that unforgivable fault, for mine, is the stupid a$$ decision, by the powers that be, at either Cashtivision, and/or Bungie, to make this game fricken ONLINE ONLY...

This does major sales damage for THREE HUGE reasons:
1. Some people are unable to connect there machine, due to things like area availability, parents not willing to allow there kids consoles to be online, & simply people who HAVE NEVER, & HAVE NEVER had the desire to want there console online, or to play games online...So, there is a massive range of consumers that will overlook this game for that very reason. That is huge numbers of people, that WILL NOT support Bungie's new, awesome, but gimped title.

2. There are masses like myself, that despise this new business, rip off tactic, & THEY WILL NOT BUY the game, these can be disgruntled FORMER Bungie & Halo nuts, that expected that single player, B-movie-esque, single player campaign, that Bungie were always renowned for. So, there goes millions of potential sales, that could have been avoided by Bungie putting some more emphasis on appeasing this crowd, with some repetitive, silly, story bases missions, that were solely designed for that single player experience, & required NO ONLINE connectivity AT ALL.

3. Then you have a bunch of butthurt avid MS fanboys, & former Bungie fanboys, who thought that Bungie & the Halo series, were the 2nd coming of Christ, & with Sony & Bungie's new game, having closer affiliations than with MS, plus the already mentioned above 2 reasons combined, these guys are that passionate, to the point of slight retardation, that they will refuse to buy ANYTHING from Bungie, EVER AGAIN.... There are Sony fanboys with the same mental issues.

BUT, people are becoming more aware & tolerance is starting to waver, as the series is at a stalemate, & seems to lack the passion & brilliance of the original COD4, as well as Black Ops, & WAW.
Destiny really should have shipped with the always online concept, an option, rather than what it did. I really hope & pray that they do a patch/update for the game, & it allows us to play the game offline, campaign, or dm, tdm, ctf, etc, etc, competitive multiplayer, & also allow it to have drop in, drop out, AI bots to fight with & against, If this happened, I would be willing to pay another $10-$15au, for this much needed feature to be added, as well as some extra content, like multiplayer maps & missions to justify the extra expense. And if future disks shipped with all these mentioned features, the game would garner more sales, obviously...Bungie really missed the opportunity they were hoping for, by going multiplat, & that is, to broaden there chances of getting more sales.. This game could have been THE BIGGEST selling game of all time, with ONLY the emission of the ALWAYS ONLINE, criminal-esque business decision.

Can't wait for Halo on my ps5.

I always thought Guitar Hero was boring the button clicking with the plastic guitar also got annoying. I played it twice with friends but I was also drunk and stoned. There are people who like Destiny but I never liked the game.
