Good perspective - tough but true. I HOPE they can fix it yes. It will be such a waste of resources if they can't, and it's worth a try. I also agree with you though, it's like with games today hype>reality and technology gives devs the chance to improve on their game, whereas in earlier years they had one chance.

Well if you are having fun that is all that counts, this is true. However, it is still shocking to see the low score it is getting.

People also have fun with Candy Crush. So by you logic that game is as good as Destiny?? And It's a game so by all accounts they should be fun, But also bring great writing, characters, visuals, awesome environments ect.

The worst part of Destiny is how old the game feels. Cut and paste missions with empty worlds and no characters its like Bungie hasn't seen any other games in the last 10 years. They made a very boring game that hardly feels next gen maybe even last gen.

If I had anything to do with this game I would have quite. This game lowers the bar, while It should have ambition and try to raise it. Not to mention they themselves hyped the Crap out of it and pretty much lied about the hole game.

If it was on the Wii U you would've played it, but it's all good, Watch Dogs is coming out on that, you can play that one.

Halo fans and Wii U kiddies joined together on the internet to troll this game, Halo fans because they view Bungie as traitors and Wii U fans because they're going to bash every game that isn't on the Wii U because they want the title of game of the year to go to Smash Bros.

Hate it or not the game is going to be the best selling game of the year, they're going to be hypocrites and say "sales don't matter" yadadada, then their game of choice gets a good week of sales " wow look at dem sales"

Yeah, it's hard to believe there is so much hate toward this game when I have over 20 friends on my friends list who are all loving Destiny(myself included). Is there room for improvement? Absolutely, but as far as I'm concerned there's nowhere to go but up from here. I applaud Bungie for going out of their comfort zone and creating such a well stitched hybrid, and I'm sure over the days,weeks, and months they will add content regularly. People complain that there are no new I.P.s yet burn Destiny at the stake for its shortfalls. If I was a developer I'd stick to proven franchise to after seeing how people act so entitled.
There are millions of people enjoying Destiny right now. If I was Bungie I'd focus on that, and not all this toxic talk from people who are to self entitled to give the game it's fair shake. Call of Duty releases annually with 1/4 the content as Destiny; at the same price as Destiny yet gets a free pass every year from these same critics. There is absolutely no consistency in game journalism today.... You want to give Destiny a 6? Fine, but COD had damn well better get a 4/10. As it suffers from FAR BIGGER problems than Destiny.

Techland allows you to play with random people very easily and talk. if you are going to make an mmo fps you have to allow people to meet and play together and talk these hoops you have to go through to talk is a stupid game design.
