it not bad.. just NOWHERE NEAR what IGN hyped it up to be.. But Activision/Bungie got over with a brilliant PR stunt. Convince review sites (that are already over-hyped about it) to not do a review before lauch knowing that the game was going to be just average. And when you as a review site are in bed with the publisher through you business actions (Activision owns the IGN Pro Leage), then the review site is more than happy to do what the publishers says. But this is ultimately to the detriment of us gamers...

This game is awesome...at least I think so.

Most fun in PvP I've had since Halo 2/3.

The Sparrow is really fun to drive.

Plenty to do.

Tons of armor, guns, sparrow, ships, shaders to collect.

Riads, events, strikes, Different PvP modes.

Not sure what you guys want.

That's what I said. For a ps3/360 game, it's pretty good. Roo for improvement? Hell yea, but that's the beast we created by buying into dlc. Now, destiny will build up to a better game through add on content. From the ps4 and x1, is no more than a shinier last generation game. No content changes , ai improvements, lobby headcount increase, nothing to justify a current generation version other than to cash in on sales. I can't complain too much though, the cross buy promotion was a great deal for a slightly above average game. I'm having fun playing it, that's all that matters to me.

I like the game a lot. I wish the games story was more fleshed out with cut scenes rather than cards on the website. But how often do you get a game with a good story any way.

4.5 million people played the beta, which was a whole planet and some and nothing but good things were said about it, it gets release some people seem to not be able to find anything good about it. Puzzling.

How could anyone expect so much more than what was shown in the huge section of the game you were aloud to play in the beta.

It'a a loot quest with competitive multiplayer just like the beta was.

Plus there is a lot of timed content coming this month,a raid, story based content, and special competition content at no additional cost, content that is aside from the expansion packs, things they do in MMO's all the time, anyone who has played a raid in an MMO know how freeken fun they are.

This game deserves an 8 out of 10(a very fun 8 out of 10) without knowing how future content will affect the game and with future content could becomes something really special.

Microsoft bought all of Zenimax Media for 7 billion, while Sony paid 4 billion for Bungie. I think Microsoft got the better deal due to acquiring Fallout, ElderScrolls and Doom.

Honestly, with that kind of track record, you can't convince me Spencer hasn't eaten it from the back in the name of self preservation. Probably unwashed...and at least twice.

That aside, my interpretation of everything here is Xbox has been mismanaged a bit too much and Nadella came down from his throne. The way it is now, I don't believe for a minute the multiplatform move was Spencer's idea. I don't even think the acquisitions was Spencer's work. At this point, I reckon he's got as much power in his role as Hunter Biden at a Ukrainian energy company.

You can never tell how things will turn out if he had said yes to those games. Xbox already has access to some great IPs, however, they hardly do anything with them or fail to deliver. It's also possible their presentation wasn't good at the time, and they made sure the next presentation was better.

I believe that part of being successful is releasing things in the right place at the right time.

Many major corporations have a story similar to passing on successful business ideas. Let us look at Sony Pictures for example. Back when Marvel went bankrupt, they had the opportunity to buy the entire Marvel for only $25 Million but turned them down. An unnamed big shot at Sony reportedly claimed that “nobody gives a shit about any of the other Marvel characters,”. They ended up taking Spiderman for $10 Million instead.

Fast forward to today, we can see what the Marvel brand has done for Disney. Is it possible the same success would have been possible had Sony acquired those IPs. We can't say that for sure and it is possible most of those IPs that are successful today may not have been used.
