Road to VR – Samsung today announced 'Gear VR' a smartphone VR adapter specially designed for the new Galaxy Note 4. The Note 4 has a '2.5k' quad-HD display (2560x1440). Thanks to Oculus VR technology, impressively, Samsung says they've been able to achieve sub-20ms head tracking latency—considered by Oculus to be the latency threshold for a great VR experience—on the mobile device.
