Press-Start: Earlier this week I had the chance to get hands-on with The Sims 4, and while I was there I got to speak with Graham Nardone, the Associate Producer of the game. We spoke about a variety of topics, including what his position is like, how the development team handles feedback, and what will entice owners of The Sims 3 to upgrade.
A free Sims 4 update adds The Coach Collection, introducing new Create a Sim outfits, accessories, and décor items.

Maxis writes: "As we kick off 2026, we’re excited to take a moment to share updates on what the team is working on for The Sims this year."
***The Values of The Sims Are Unchanged.***
Tell us enough times and we might start believing you.
***That’s why we’re building a family of new Sims experiences across PC, console, and mobile. Each experience carries the heart, humor, creativity, and lore you love, while introducing its own world, focus, and way to play. Every experience will stand strong on its own. And together, they open up a larger world of possibilities. ***
This is marketing speak that could mean anything and nothing.

EA writes: "Today’s update features an extensive list of over 150 bug fixes based on feedback from the EA Forums and social media. You told us what was blocking the fun, and we prioritized those fixes to get you right back to it!
Along with those fixes, we have a free content drop showcasing West African-themed items for Create a Sim and Build Mode, a new loc hairstyle, and a community-made item that celebrates a major milestone. Stay tuned for more including two new Creator Kits, dropping on November 13!"
