The last time the team at TDF visited Sucker Punch’s Seattle was five months ago in the form of inFAMOUS: Second Son, a game that was enjoyable but played it far too safe and stuck to what makes the series good. We wanted Sucker Punch to experiment and implement new mechanics and features into the PlayStation 4’s first big exclusive title, but now they get a second shot at doing that, in inFAMOUS: First Light. Much like what inFAMOUS: Festival Of Blood was for inFAMOUS 2, inFAMOUS: First Light is a standalone game that ties into the plot of inFAMOUS: Second Son, however it can be enjoyed by existing fans and newcomers to the series. We didn’t take much of a liking to Delsin Rowe in Second Son so when it was announced that inFAMOUS: First Light would focus on Delsin’s charismatic side-kick Fetch, we couldn’t wait to sink our teeth into the game.

Fans of the action-adventure franchise have been eagerly awaiting news of a potential sequel to one of the best games on the PS4.
Umm ... how about this?
First we get the Tushima sequel(coz its most rumored)
Then a new Resistance (need new PS SP FPS)
Then a totally new IP (new IPs are always interesting)
And then a new inFamous?
I had a great time with the second son. Never got to play the originals and hope they get remastered one day.
If I had a choice between another Infamous game and another Spider-Man game, I choose Spider-Man. Sony should spend its resources on its winners.

For decades, superheroes had the worst luck when it came to video games, the X-Men chief among them. There are a few welcome outliers—Raven Software’s X-Men Legends duology remains a classic, Wolverine’s game adaptation for his first solo movie has its silly charm, and you can still find the classic beat-’em-up cabinet in arcades everywhere—but there are more lows than highs, from Mutant Wars and X2: Wolverine’s Revenge, to the franchise’s last big stab at mainstream gaming respectability, 2011’s X-Men: Destiny. Sluggish and overwrought, the latter seemed to be the kiss of death for Marvel’s mutants, the precursor to their eventual fate years before they were kicked out of Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite. (Getting left out in the cold during Marvel’s big purchase by Disney probably didn’t help.)
Sony needs to remaster both infamous games for ps4/5. Incredible games with pretty easy platinum trophies.
I've actually thought the same thing and how Sucker Punch can expand this IP and have their own Xmen. I wish we get an sequel to Infamous 2's bad ending which gave everyone affected by the blast super powers
Yeah I really enjoyed the first and second one. Never before had I played a game that was like this.
A new experience and the for me as a new fan!
