Star Citizen Gamescom Coverage And The Next Stretch Goals

With the latest Letter from the Chairman we finally got the Star Citizen Gamescom coverage and the next two stretch goals for $52 and 53 million milestone.

The goal behind the Gamescom lineup was to show everybody that Star Citizen is going beyond dogfighting from the Constellation variants with non-combat roles to the co-op crewed ship play. They also teased the AAA-quality FPS combat module that is currently developed by a third studio.

This game sounds like it is getting major developer support and love. I am very much hyped for this.

2 teams have been verified so far to be working on SC.

Im sure a third team is lurking in the not so far distance.

Did I just read the words JetPack? throws more money at the screen.

gotta have a Jetpack. it's a must!

if everyone who plays League of Legends donates just $1 dollar to SC then I'm sure Chris would add an in game MOBA like the world has never seen.

maybe walk around the hanger to the lounge and play a MOBA with your friends.

Look at that Hornet and it's near photo realistic graphics so SWEET!!

Sure....since they raised close to a billion they don't even need to make a profit.

blacktiger49d ago

Well You know GTA 6 is like 2 billion dollar. So I don tknow why you trippin

jznrpg49d ago

But it’s not funded by players for over 13 years. And it will release before Star Citizen

blacktiger48d ago

what difference does it make, it's being funded while you are pissed off, money is money. Why do you have emotion?

Pergele48d ago

Did you know you are so stupid? Like it's almost funny

Azurite49d ago

The money is allocated between two games, most of it goes to Squadron 42.

Feels like when at the mall people stop you to give you free products and once you accept they won't stop to follow you until you buy the rest ..... F-DAT !

Noskypeno49d ago

What, you don't want shoe cleaner that costs more than the shoe?

raWfodog49d ago

I do wish they'd release this for PS5 Pro at the very least. I've been craving a good realistic space exploration game since Frontier Developments stopped supporting ongoing updates for Elite Dangerous on consoles. I put a ton of hours into that game and then they just stopped console support when the Odyssey update came out. Pissed me off LOL. I guess I'll get back into No Man's Sky for the time being since there's a bunch of new stuff since I've last played.

andy8548d ago

I didn't even realise you had to pay. Who on earth is paying to play a game that is still in alpha over a decade on 😂

thorstein48d ago (Edited 48d ago )

"A decade?"

This started before No Man's Sky was announced.

2011. It's been a decade and a half.

Shameless plug for NMS: you can build all of Star Citizens' ships in NMS for free. The only difference is that one of these games has launched...a decade ago. And the new update allows you toto capture creatures and battle them in an arena.

It's still a giant money sucker fools and their money are soon parted.
