Brave: The Search for the Spirit Dancer was a PlayStation 2 platformer released last year. The game is getting sequels on several current-generation platforms, including a puzzle affair on the Nintendo DS. Brave: Shaman's Challenge plays like a scaled down version of Puzzle Quest, with the titular hero traveling an overworld map through a series of puzzle challenges. IGN say scaled down because Shaman's Challenge is a linear adventure without all the RPG elements of Puzzle Quest.

Today, SouthPeak Games have announced the games they will be showing at the Leipzig Games Convention this year (20-24th August, 2008). A wide range of games will be both demonstrated and available for hands-on play, across a range of platforms and genres. All the games showing will be releasing in 2008 or early 2009. Since Puzzle Quest, GamesRadar have been dying to see more plot heavy puzzle games, and Brave: Shaman's Challenge might give them their much-needed fix this Fall. The game promises to blend a deep story with Puyo Pop-esque puzzles. Don't know what that means? Never played Puyo Pop? For shame. Well let's kill two birds with one stone.
