During Gamescom 2014, Sony announced a playable trailer from an unknown 7780s Studio. Without knowing anything further, this quickly became the most horrifying game released to date. This title is as freaky as it gets and will certainly resuscitate many gamers' interests in the dying horror genre as a whole once again. Ultimately, this game turned out to be a teaser for Silent Hills, courtesy of Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro and Konami. So how does it fare?

P.T. may never be coming back in any official capacity, but fans of PlayStation game Dreams might be in luck this spooky season.
I have to emphasize that this is an extremly well made remake, it's the full game with all the content and features plus more. Visuals and sound is very close to the original, this version was recently published. I know there's a lot of predjudice against Dreams, which is a shame and not really deserved, the tool is much more capable than many think.

TNS: “Nightmare fuel to say the least, check out the 10 most terrifying Silent Hill monsters, and what they symbolize.”

The sirens are sounding again, beckoning you back to the foggy ghost town as we rank all the Silent Hill games, from the chilling classics to the misguided missteps.
I mostly disagree with Downpour's position. Yeah, the game is not amazing by any stretch of the imagination but is much better than the HD Collection and Homecoming. The main issue is the performance, but that was mitigated by the patches, especially on the PS3. Personally, I put it a little behind Origins and The Room.
Having Restless Dreams as a different entry from Silent Hill 2 is also a choice.
silent hill 2 is definitely the best one out of those.
for me personally, the whole ritual/cult stuff was always so weird to me in all the other games.
No disrespect but I put SH2 over 1. 1 is fantastic, but 2 took it all up a level.
