There’s nothing more upsetting than finding out a game that you thought was on one console all of a sudden jumps only to another console. That I get. But a game going multiplatform? Why is this a bad thing?"

All available May 5.
I think the only game here for me is Nine Sols. Was always interested in that game.
Good month for me, I wanted that particular footy game and thought it might be due. Anyway who cares, shame about the site I'll miss the comment sections. All the best everyone.
Naughty Dog was reportedly divided on the controversial fate of Joel in The Last of Us Part 2 during the game's development.
I think it was good decision, if he was still alive, he would have been a mascot just like Kratos, drake and many others. These old dudes gotta die for new characters to take center stage with their own storyline. They keep dragging the emotional baggage into many sequels and eventually the story just turns into absolute shit show.
Honestly as much as I loved the game, they could have just not killed him off.
I get it creator vision and all but killing a character that made you millions is just wrong imo. At least have him go down fighting.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.
Multiplatform games are the best thing for gamers, I will always stand by the fact that if more people get to play a certain game the better and I don't understand why limit the playerbase. Exclusives for sure are better for Console platforms but it is not better for consumers in the long run. Most people will buy one console and regardless of which console they chose they should be able to play the games and not miss one just because they don't have the other console that it's exclusive on. (If it's a game dependent on greater hardware it's understandable in some games. Seems to happen a lot with Wii U like the new AC Unity)
Most of the games that I am excited for this year are multiplatform games, they pretty much make up most of my library and that's because I don't buy consoles for exclusives, though that does not take away the fact that I own at least half of the exclusives released on my PS3/PS4. Exclusivity again is good for the console to pick up sales but for us, the people who are playing the games we should want the games to be available to everyone.
Why pick sides for just a game?
Also, I don't think I ever heard a statement saying Multiplatform games are a bad thing.
You don't see Super Mario Metroid Star Fox or Zelda on other platforms do you? and they are some of the best franchises ever END OF STORY!
Sure multiplats make the industry go and provides fun for everyone BUT............
Exclusives bring about the real CORE gameplay and make the most of a particular platform.
Each platform needs it's Exclusives to really push that system. Nothing better than a Dev team dedicated SOLELY to your hardware.
Ah the Golden Era when virtually NO Game was on more than one or two platforms. Only sports titles were multiplats back then with a few exceptions like Mortal Kombat, SF2, etc. unlike now how 90% of games released are multiplats.
Golden Era = PC, Neo Geo, Turbo GFX-16, SNES, Genesis, Arcade
Multiplats aren't a bad thing.
They just shouldn't ever be the ONLY thing, because exclusives help keep diversity alive through competition.
thanks for all the comments
