Sweet. The more i hear about the is game the more I am interested.

MRMagoo1234302d ago

yeh, I showed my son the trailer for it yesterday and he seems pretty excited about it too. Sony love bringing those original games and I love them bringing them.

Justoveraveragegamer4302d ago

It's good to see parents showing there children quality games! Instead of the typical call of duties. Fair play to you

TheTowelBoy4302d ago

Hear hear! A cookie for you sir!

Aceman184302d ago

i know when i saw it for the first time yesterday i couldn't stop watching it looks so interesting.

i must keep an eye on this game.

starchild4302d ago

This was easily one of my favorite games shown at gamescom. Big fan of Michel Ancel's work in general.

funkybudda4302d ago

It's refreshing to see brand new ideas and risks taken by Sony. I am exciting for this game, day 1 purchase for me.

equal_youth4302d ago

the moment this game was announced i was hyped to the limit. This hole wave of exploration games show IMO what video games can be and that is a look over our own horizon.

RebelWAC4302d ago

I'm with all you guys above. nuff said.

telekineticmantis4302d ago

The trailer looked amazing, with the under water exploration and survival, but the concept and design scares me. A game the size of Europe, sounds remarkable, but I dont want another Skyrim situation with a huge game, and nothingness for miles upon miles, as far as interesting gameplay. I mean, what is the purpose of the game? luckily there's Multiplayer. With that said definitely my game of the show, thus far.

dcj05244302d ago

I don't thinkngames need a purpose, you make your own

smolinsk4302d ago

Skyrim situation? that game wasn't even big, lots to do in that game.

telekineticmantis4302d ago

Yes when you FINALLY reach your destination, tons to do. Before that, just walking around picking flowers for potions you'll use maybe once, and hoping a dragon shows up, to kill you.

Shame, it looked interesting at the time

Agent75469d ago

Shame, but the same old type of game from Sony.

S2Killinit469d ago (Edited 469d ago )

You mean masterpiece

Christopher469d ago (Edited 469d ago )

A MP open world game the size of an actual continent where you can control animals or turn into them? Yeah. Same old Sony game. /s

RedDevils468d ago

You mean Tokyo jungle, that game was fun.

XiNatsuDragnel470d ago

Very shameful I hope ubisoft if they go bankrupt should get there servers and release the files online since by that time they'll be defunct

Ristul469d ago

I was hyped for the game when they showed the first trailers, to bad it didnt make it.

Agent75469d ago

That's the thing with Sony, they keep knocking out these 'running about' games. I thought Sony would've released Driveclub on PS5 with extra tracks and with VR. A new Motorstorm didn't surface on PS4 or even a Motorstorm collection as with Uncharted and God of War. Wild probably would've been a top game and the chances of Sony going back to it is probably never going to happen. The Getaway 3 was canned on PS3, although the first game was flawed and the sequel took a graphics downgrade and was tragic. Sony are clinically obsessed with this genre.

lucasnooker469d ago

I loved the getaway part 1. It’s one of my favourite ps2 titles and I revisit it from time to time. Great plot, interesting characters, unique mechanics. Sure it’s a little clunky and dated to today’s standards but there’s no other game quite like it.

Giga_Gaia469d ago

I am more disapointed about Deep Down. Wild didn't interest me at all.

Lesson learned - Don't work with Ubi

Blaze929529d ago

Ehhh, the same one that was making team members cry and him calling them worthless? Don't work with Ancel

isarai529d ago

Was wondering what happened to this game, seems interesting but whateves 🤷‍♂️

TheCaptainKuchiki529d ago (Edited 529d ago )

I was so disappointed that this game died.
But Ancel himself isn't entirely clean....
He has an habit of not finishing games.

RaiderNation529d ago

Man there's quite a long line forming of canceled/dormant 3rd party projects for PlayStation that never came out...

Agent
Deep Down
Wild
Little Devil Inside
Pragmata
Silent Hills

And I know there's more!

Teams that score the most goals also miss the most shots.

Tacoboto529d ago

That's just how a business person massages "inefficiency" to their boss.

Gameseeker_Frampt528d ago (Edited 528d ago )

"Teams that score the most goals also miss the most shots."

That is not how any of that works, but nice attempt at deflecting. In your mind, the Portland Trail Blazers must be an amazing team this year since they hold 3 of the top 5 spots for most shots missed in a game.

thorstein528d ago (Edited 528d ago )

Last night the Toronto Maple Leafs took 14 shots and the NJ Devils took 38.

Toronto won 2-1 proving that the quality of shots is far more important than the quantity.

Lol depends on what sport I guess. Im Football/Soccer, its true.

Knushwood Butt528d ago

It's better to try and fail than not try at all.

That's a nice one, but if you work for a crappy company then;

It's better to try and fail than not try at all.
However, if you fail, expect a witch-hunt and then to be thrown under the bus. Oh, and leadership isn't going to do anything to try and address the root-causes of the issues, as they'll be too busy trying to tick boxes, or with the next witch-hunt, which will come along very soon.

S2Killinit528d ago (Edited 528d ago )

Im sure none of you believe Sony is not about quality. Pretty sure their domination speaks for the quality of their products.

Tacoboto528d ago

Concord. Horizon Horizon Horizon. TLOU Part 1 PC at launch.

I don't know about the others but i have hope for Little Devil. It'll still come

Notellin529d ago

Knights of the Old Republic remake should have been on this list.

Agent75469d ago

You look at game pricing this gen, some of these games will flop. £70 for PS5 games, Sony raised the price of PS4 games, all these years on, the PS4 is still out there, PS5 was released too early and now we're soon heading for PS6. It staggers me that Sony and Microsoft can't see that gaming is heading for a crash.

I was really stoked for this. I liked that giant Snake-lady god or whatever it was. It looked like it had some great art direction.
