Remaster my butt.

if they are going to do a remake they should have redone everything in full 3d and completely dropped the pre-rendered backgrounds. As it stands I will stick with the wii version.

It was confirmed that they are indeed adding a different control scheme correct? I know some people love the tank controls but that was the only thing I disliked about REmake. I recall they never fixed it on the Wii port.

I've already played through this game 3 times, but ill purchase again just to support the genre and hopefully they'll do number 2.

Playing resident evil ps1 on the emulator right now . Cant wait for this one.

I'll get both PS4 version and Resident Evil Archives RE/RE0 for Wii/Wii U then.
Like I did with RE3 on Playstation and Dreamcast.
I still wondering if they ever consider a RE0 port for PS4/XBO?

What a waste of a remake. Nothing impressive, specially if you're getting it for ps4, xb1, or pc.

If the story wasn't so darn bad I would buy this in a heartbeat. I'm craving for more survival horror but I don't care if they have shit storytelling. Amnesia and Machine For Pigs are probably the only good blends of shocking horror and good narratives.

Very disappointed if this is the final screens. I can barely tell a difference. Not much effort in this. Seems like a direct port from the Wii with upscale.

I got to say, couple of them Wii shots did the game better than the HD remake!

Below the title says the original Wii game, when the game is originally a Gamecube remake, fail.

The original looks far more better, just look at that zombie face.

So lame! Projects like these should be extra gems this gen, and all we're getting is old releases with the HD treatment instead of new entries to existing or new franchises.

Again, I love this game in particular and welcome HD re-releases, but they should be extra games, not instead of the other games.

An HD gamecube port. I thought we were going to get an actual RE remake with 2014 graphics, not a 2002 looking game in HD.

ND remasters a game with crazy graphics from 720p 30FPS to 1080p 60FPS and people bitched and complained. This garbage should have people foaming at the mouth torching Capcom's headquarters, this is a crap remaster. This is pathetic.

great game, wish they had built it from scratch though. it will look much better than the original once we see it running at our own homes. resolution will be more than twice as high so the pre rendered backgrounds should be very nice. hopefully capcom will just use the money from it to actually remake 2 then 3,0 & veronica.

the gamecube version still looks pretty damn good but i dont have those anymore so i might rebuy em if theyre on sale

From now on, I don't want remasters because remasters are just HD ports, how about developers give us Definitive editions instead of remasters.
