IGN - Platinum’s sequel act is full of magic and surprises.
Something about Bayonetta just makes her special. She has all the characteristics of a virtual Lady Gaga for the action genre. A svelte physique, a reckless and uncompromising fashion-sense, a take-no-prisoners attitude, that trendy hairdo, and some radical fighting abilities set her apart from so many other characters.
Where her first adventure introduced a combo-friendly ballet of guns, swordplay, and some wicked weaves – portals to the netherworld made of hair that unleash soul-crushing demon accomplices – so far this sequel builds a better combat framework, with weapons and abilities that can be used to absolutely wreck angel and demon enemies alike.
Bayonetta's character design and abilities have changed a lot since the series debuted in 2009, with new costumes and dark arts in every title.
Many fans have been expressing their disappointment with Bayonetta 3. Here's why the recently released game is a clear step down from Bayonetta 2.
Yet the Switch is much more powerful than the Wii U - the platform the second game released on. So you're just being negative to be negative with that comment.
I thought they focused on big kaiju like fights which felt gimmicky and thy brought this new character in to try and get away from the leading star

I mean they pretty much killed 3 big characters. They killed Jeanne, Luka and Bayonetta herself and it's not the fact they died it's how they died, we've seen Jeanne and Bayonetta survive countless things yet they go out by the lamest ways possible.
Nintendo has updated Bayonetta 2 to version 1.2.0 and they have also shared the patch notes for this update on the Nintendo Switch.
This game looks absolutely amazing. might be my GOTY.
