Simple opinion piece relating to classic games put under the Remaster or Reboot spotlight

Aion 2 receives major updates in Korea with a new dungeon, Libra system, Abyss changes and progression improvements ahead of global release plans.

Blizzard reveals plans to speed up Diablo releases with more frequent expansions and updates as the franchise moves toward a live-service future.
Plus a few other bits to tide you over.
The one game that needs both would be resident evil remaster the early games and reboot the series.
Remasters are anti-consumer scams.
Reboots are new games.
Seems pretty obvious which is the best option, in every conceivable scenario.
If the game is a *true classic and no element of gameplay/story etc should be changed, then it's a Remaster. Note, Remasters should not be full retail price.. ever!!
If the game had some great ideas, concepts and was ok-ish, but maybe didn't quite hit the AAA, classic etc or maybe it was a game that was just a bit to big, ambitious or the tech wasn't powerful enough to fully realize the potential of the games concept etc... then it's a reboot.
