ATI brings a whole new world of gaming with the introduction of physics processing on the ATI GPU as part of the ATI CrossFire platform. Now, in addition to dual-card CrossFire graphics, a third ATI Radeon® X1000 series card can be used to deliver the most powerful physics processing performance available for the most true-to-life representations of reality possible. This potent new combination of the highest quality dual graphics solution with incredible physics processing capacity brings gamers the best looking, most immersive game experience possible, on the highest performing PC platform ever conceived, ATI CrossFire.
ATI CrossFire offers gamers a choice of physics configurations rather than being locked into symmetrical setups. This flexible architecture allows asymmetrical configurations as unlike cards can be used for physics processing in both 1+1 and 2+1 setups where one or two graphics cards are used for game rendering, while another card is used for physics. This open architecture accommodates all gamers, whether they want to use a high-end graphics card for physics, or a mainstream card.
The first tournament of the last week of the Esports World Cup 2025 saw All Gamers winning Crossfire with its AG.AL joint team.

Apparently it's still on track for this year. Man MS will have a pretty stacked holiday it looks like.
Wow. In a 3 to 4 years our PC will have 8 to 10 graphics cards and 6 physics cards cooled by your refrigerator. Only $899 each. Have to upgrade in 6 months or when a new version of Windows comes out. Sweet!!!
I agree with you BLow, lol. Oh yeah, you forgot the 12 processors, 8 stick of RAM and 5 TB of HD capacity...geez. This is what I've been talkiing about for such a long time now. If everybody knew how expensive computer gaming is,then they'll all look at the PS3 as being supper cheap. Even the new Geforce 7950 GX2 is more expensive than the PS3, my god. To get on the topic -- let's just hope that the ATI physics card will be more useful than the Ageia Physx processor. That one by itself is $300 and only 4 or 5 games make use of it, and aren't even using its full potential yet. Nvidia should now just come up with an AI processor card, my goodness.
Why the. I can only imagine the specs of the next xbox. Like 10 cores, 4 gpus, 2 Gb of ram DDR4 and what not.
they'll just sell us IBM blade servers optimized for gaming
stupid thing it doesn't show up so u repost and than it shows up!
