With a clear visual divide between Destiny's PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 beta builds, both versions nevertheless come out looking very respectable indeed. A locked 30fps is a core mandate for each platform, it seems, and with the Xbox One release open for access since Wednesday, it's clear this version is no exception. However, with resolution currently locked at 900p for this Xbox One build - and 1080p being targeted for release - are there any other sacrifices being made to suit this console's more restrictive specs?

The long-rumoured Destiny Mobile game from NetEase may finally be ready for reveal according to multiple leakers.
Phil Spencer talks candidly about missing out on both Destiny and Guitar Hero
So you're saying that Microsoft has missed out on so many huge gaming franchise in the last 25 years from GTA exclusivity to guitar hero and destiny it's just laughable they had so many misses
Best deal deal in gaming must be when Sony bought Insomniac for 229 million dollars. They made over 800 millions on Spiderman for the ps4 alone. Thats just crazy!
another Interview?
how is he the only one who loves the spotlight as much as he does lol
Let's not forget he also famously passed on Spider-man, Genshin Impact and GTA3.
However it's almost kind of cute how he can keep that sh1t-eating grin and say he's a 'no regrets' kind of guy, especially when you think how much just these 5 titles could have swung the world in Xbox's favour instead of Sonys.
How he's kept his job I don't know, he must sure be keeping Papa Nadella's shaft warm somehow.
"But, but Gamepass, he introduced that!!!"
Yes he did, and now look at Xbox, all it's exclusives are coming to Playstation now rendering the platform obsolete.
To sum it up. Outside the 900p 1080p difference they have the same game under the wrapper.
When first starting the game I found it quite startlingly ugly. The intro area with the rusty cars and such, it looks awful. So bad that I think they should seriously consider re-doing the intro sequence before the game launches.
The visuals pick up significantly when you get indoors and it starts throwing more interesting light sources around, but the texturing is a mixed bag throughout.
Not entirely convinced by the game so far, but I really do want to love it so I'll keep going!
How will 1080p affect the framerate on the xbone?
Quote from article :
"...While the additional 10 per cent of rendering resources afforded by the recent Kinect-unbundling XDK update are welcome, it does not offer up enough GPU horsepower to bridge the gap between 900p and 1080p rendering...."
THIS!
Well, final build comparison will be waaaay more interesting! Jump from 900p to 1080p is 44% increase in pixel density.
Both camp will enjoy in this game for sure. :)
Reguardless most people will be playing on PS4 anyway. See you on the field.
