I had when i watched the list. No Deus Ex, System Shock 2 or even Portal for that matter makes this list more of "The best FPS's other than BIOSHOCK that have Multiplayer" than "Top 10 FPS's ever".

I'd also like to add that I don't like Half-Life 2 at all. No plot, tacked on puzzles and a (in my own opinion) lame protagonist in Gordon Freeman. But that's just my opinion as almost everyone else i've met seem to love it to bits.

Portal is NOT an FPS.

Portal has more in common with a puzzle/platformer than a first person shooter. But i include it on the list because the perspective is indeed in first person. I include every game with a first person perspective as a first person shooter. But Portal is best described to me as a platformer/fps hybrid.

And here's my personal top 10.

they probaly wanted to please the masses. I am just mad because deus ex isnt even on the list at all. That can only mean one thing, that the person making the "best FPS ever" list hasnt even played the best FPS ever. I do/did own all the games on the list except quake and deus ex easily takes #1.

highly doubt it......and GeOW2 isnt a fps.....

Killzone 2:Maybe (strong maybe)
Resistance 2: Maybe

Halo:CE was on the list, not Halo 2.

except halo 2 deserves to be on the list because of what it did for console multiplayer. Even today most games cant do splitscreen multiplayetr over live with one account like it did in 2004. Deus ex deserves to be #1 no doubt tho.

Halo 1 is awesome. A game usually has to be pretty good to single handedly keep a console from failing.

The N64 controller was one bad ass controller and can easily handle its own compared with a mouse and keyboard.

Thank GOD. Some people actually know something and see that Halo 1 is the best hands down of all three...no question.

Deus X was not near good enough to be on this list.

Resistance should have been on this list. It is that good of an FPS.

Crysis has graphics and thats it.

All in all not too bad of a list really.
