I agree with the article. I think that variety and well written characters is the key. We should be able to keep our raunchy fanservice while at the same time having more smartly written games and characters. That way, everyone's happy and even though the elitists will still criticize the sleazy stuff, at least they have alternatives. I am also of the mind that a sexualized character showing off a ton of skin isn't inherently bad, especially when they have a deep story/personality, like most female characters in fighting games (Ivy, Cammy, Mai Shiranui etc). We're getting there I guess, but the point is that we need more variety not less boobs, haha.
