Twinfinite lays out 5 things that the Destiny Beta made very clear are going to be needed by the time the actual game launches in September

The Marathon Duo queue test ends as Bungie confirms its return in Season 2, with new experimental playlists already on the way.
Its neat especially since not everyone might have two friends playing it. Makes it more personal to go at in duos.
It's 2026 and basic match making features in MP games are still being drip fed to an audience that still gets excited over said basic feature being implemented.

Darryl Linington from Notebookcheck.net writes: "Early hands-on time with Marathon, spanning roughly 10 hours, points to a distinctive extraction shooter with strong shell-based class design, layered faction progression, surreal presentation, and a dense UI that still needs smoothing out."
Almost 16,000 reviews on Steam currently has the game sitting on a very positive 90% Not sure if it has the player numbers but those who are playing seem to be enjoying themselves.
The game is really really bad. So generic boring and lifeless. UI is terrible. Bad and slow gameplay. Not sure who gives the go ahead for these games. Insane all that money companies just throw away for no reason. Nobody a asking for these games

Bungie has fully settled the Destiny 2 Red War copyright lawsuit with writer Matthew Martineau, ending a year-long legal fight.
#6 - Optional voice chat with people outside your fire squad
I am indeed a little worried about the depth of the story and lore, as the beta featured little beyond some voice acting and a slightly vague cutscene. Oh, and they need to add facial hair for males. Otherwise I'll have to go Exo.
On #3 - why can't he just look at the name above the character?
I'm all for more customization but me mistaking one person for another just isn't going to happen. Rarely do I look at what someone is wearing in the middle of a battle. I look at the name above the character if anything.
Also, he mentions sequels to the game. Is it possible that there are no "sequels" but rather they just continuously augment and upgrade the game going forward? They'll have to figure out some revenue structure like a yearly subscription but that might be a really cool way to do it. I'd also be open to the character carrying over to the next game a la Mass Effect. If I am going to invest a ton of time into this, I don't want to have to start over.
With their 10 year plan, hopefully Bungie will allow travel to the entire solar system and beyond, then go to the enemies home planet and finish the fight.
This article actually makes me think that the author hasn't played the Beta hahaha.
#4 Characters with faces.
So he obviously NEVER visited the tower....
