
I was going to write a nice opinion piece on E-sports this week. That was until I switched on my PC and a massive advert from EA Origin popped up advertising Fifa World. Right…so this is the second free to play, pay to win “world game”. The first being Need for Speed World. But I have a really big question…why? How does EA benefit from these “big franchise world games”? Do they expect everyone to move to Need for speed World or Fifa World and pay them for the idea that they are doing well?
