The indie space simulator from developer Squad is getting a major update today, entitled Kerbal Space Program: First Contract. The biggest additions to the game in this update are a huge advancement in the game’s career mode, and a 64-bit version of the game for Windows.
Players can take on Contracts, manage a new in-game currency that allows them to buy rocket and plane parts, and earn reputation for their efforts. Reputation is raised for completed contracts and bringing Kerbals back in one piece. Failing missions lowers reputation.

Terraria, Kerbal Space Program, and Path of Exile can be incredibly hard for players to get into without ample prior genre experience.

Starting today, Kerbal Space Program and Shadow Tactics: Aiko's Choice are free at Epic Games Store. The free game offers run until January 12 at 11 AM Eastern. Once you claim them, they're yours to keep.

Green Man Gaming has over 1,500 indie games on sale. With savings of up to 90% to be had on a huge variety of indies, it’s a true indie extravaganza.
