They undertracked the Xbox One by nearly 15k units in June. Not to be outdone, they undertraked the PS4 by more than 70k.

That says more about Wii U than Xbox IMO. Everyone believed it to be dead console. Yet here we are!

OT: Dropping Kinect helped the XBO out just as much as MK8 has helped Wii U. Both are doing well now which is good for the entire industry. PS4 selling that well with absolutely nothing going for it in June just goes to show it's cleaning up this generation or at least for the first few years until the masses start looking for a second console.

I guaranty that there will not be much of a jump in sales. They are all country's that Microsoft knew would not have significant sales numbers to begin with. they could released in those territories along with the rest that they did release in ,they never had a shortage of console, you can still get a day one edition if you look around.

Their numbers are in the ballpark....'s parking lot. But we don't get weekly numbers from NPD or WW numbers from anyone on a regular basis, so...it's all we really have, especially with WW estimates (without waiting for annual/semi-annual figures from the manufacturers).

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
