Thats the advantages of dx11-12 80-90% of games makers use it the ps4 can have something the same but it won't be used by the masses dx12 will make this process even easier from pc to x1

This would make sense considering MS is a major contributor behind both platforms. What the article doesn't say or try to say is that DX11 helps the performance quality of X1 in anyway, it's merely an easier tool to use for porting.

Well I'm blessed to have the choice. So I'm getting it on PC. Hopefully my gtx770 will cope when I crank up up 'dem graphics'.

Theyre not going to say shit about it anyway cause microsoft knows what will happen, it will be another ubisoft scenerio selling half than ps4. Soon the ps4 will start getting preferential treatment treatment because of the install and pervromance dominence.

My PC does 1600p on a 30" Yamakasi on max settings on every game. I absolutely love it. 1600p is freaking glorious and makes going back to 1080p pretty sad. I get every single game that is not exclusive on Steam (or Origin, but only if need be, curse you Dragon Age and Mass Effect).

I have my PS4 and Wii U (and 3DS XL) for exclusives and don't regret them a bit. I feel totally covered for all games that me and my family want to play for the next 5 years.

Game looks and runs great only a handful of minor drops in fps at expected spots. Definitely gonna get this when it comes out.

He was saying that since both xbox and PC use directx it made developing between the two very easy, while ps4 was much more difficult since it does not use directx.

Don't see why much effort was needed since they >XboxOne/Direct X and PS4/OpenGL< both use the same architecture PC x86.

I hope this game is better than the previous games, Witcher 2 is too linear, lack of customization of your character and the combat is nothing special, i really don't understand the hype about it, there are several better rpgs on the market.

From this moment henceforth, Xbox hardware shall simply just exist but have no significant bearing from a business standpoint or from a gamer culture standpoint. It will simply be there for the people that want to have it and that's fine if they're selling it at a high price and actually making money off each sale.

I’ll say this. Cyberpunk had a tumultuous start on console. Even if it had sold like crazy, that whole almost unplayable fiasco and being given no questions asked refunds made a lot of people not look back.
When it comes to PC, people are a lot more forgiving of things like that, especially on Steam, because of the return policy. I really think console manufacturers should implement the exact same refund policy. Was it played under X time? Refund it. It makes people take that risk on games a LOT more than on console. Bought this game and it was broken? Refund it. They said they fixed it 3 months later? Buy it again. It’s fixed but just not fun? Refund it. On console you don’t have that luxury. Was it downloaded? GG. No refund. Lord knows my Steam library is full of “I’ll try it” games that I loved and I’m glad I can take a rush on. On console, specifically PlayStation because I’m not buying Xbox games, I take calculated risk. Known developers. Shinobi, Ninja Gaiden ragebound, stuff like that. Obviously big exclusives and games too. I would have never tried Little Bookstore on PlayStation, but on Steam… why not? Hellish Quart? Why not. Buckshot Roulette? Why not.
