With last week’s announcement that Firefall will be available on July 29, the team at Red 5 Studios has just released a brand new Player Vs Player trailer showing off its open world PvP zones that take place completely separate from the rest of the battered planet earth. This zone is known as the Broken Peninsula, an area loaded with rich resources that has been almost completely untouched by the melding making this an extreamly valuable area for an organization to control.

This is sad news, because I always felt there was great potential with this game but it never got to where it could be.
Plus this was the only game to ever use the Project Offset engine too. Project Offset never came out so getting to see what it could do was the closest we ever got because of this game.
We're rounding up some games like Firefall, a great concept that simply was not executed as well as we hoped. Maybe these other worlds will hit the spot!
I use to love MMO's but now i can't stand them. I hope they can change the grinding and make a more engaging gameplay style.

This game is a lot of fun. I've been a founder since right after alpha and it has gone through a lot of fantastic changes. Can't wait to see what people think.
I thought this game was dead
The game is not going to have Open World PvP, its going to have Large Scale PvP in specifically made map for PvP with teams and specific set of rules. So if you are looking forward to actual Open World PvP, you will be disappointed.
The game is going to be very fun, but the fact that Red5 knowingly misleads people by saying they have Open World PvP is just not cool.
