Twinfinite writes: "David Goldfarb, the lead desginer of AAA studio Overkill Software, creators of the Payday series, has announced that he is leaving the company to start his own indie studio in Stockholm."

Andrew from Xbox Enthusiast thinks Overkill Software has missed its shot with the upcoming Overkill's The Walking Dead. From a lack of gameplay details/footage, a delay, and a scheduled release for Fall 2018, where it will launch against some heavy hitters, it seems like the upcoming Walking Dead video game may struggle to find an audience.
If they release it in Fall 2018 they go up against COD, BF, and RDR2. It will fail. A good time to release would be February or March with far less competition.
NE: "It’s been awhile since we last heard about the Switch version of Payday 2, as it was announced during a Nintendo Direct several months ago. Today, Overkill Software shared an update. Payday 2 will have a revamped interface on Switch, including usage of the touchscreen. Overkill also teased a “special treat” that will be shared later."
... it does exist
Good news to see that the project didn't get shelved or forgotten about. My guess is they use the word Winter so that if it doesn't release until like February of 2018 it will still count.
Glad to hear an update. Finally. With masks being seen so frequent recently, I thought for a moment I would have had grab 3 friends and do our own heist.

Payday 2 is one of more popular games on steam; the developers -Overkill Software- have revealed their future plans for the game. VR for the game was announced by the devs earlier this week, which will be available later this year.
Cool!
