The Gran Turismo franchise wears its 'The Real Driving Simulator' tag line as very much a badge of pride, but the wording of this now-familiar boast betrays what many consider GT's biggest weakness – that it's a driving game, and not a racing game. While there's no denying that Gran Turismo is unbeatable when it comes to experiencing the pure pleasure that comes from owning, tweaking and trying out a huge range of beautiful cars (ie car porn), conveyor belt AI, a lack of proper collision physics or car damage, and a haphazard approach to balancing and fairness do hamper its ability to provide a tight, thrill-packed racing experience. So if you want a racing car simulator that focuses on the racing rather than on the car, what do you do? Play suggest you get hold of a magic lamp, give it a rub and hope that the game you're wishing for pops out in a puff of smoke and glitter. If that doesn't work, just buy Race Driver: GRID.

Neil writes: "The month of May is nearly over but as 2021 continues to roll on, the bargains still keep coming. That is no more true than with the variety of discounts, bargains and absolute steals that are present in the latest Xbox Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale with the one running between 25th-31st May 2021 delivering the goods for Xbox 360, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S players. The Humble Codemasters Racing ReBundle 2020 just launched today. It features games like F1 2019, Dirt Rally 2.0, GRID, and more.

This month’s Humble Choice features twelve games. The headliners for June are GRID Ultimate Edition, Supraland, and Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice. New games are added to Humble Choice on the first Friday of every month.
Was surprised to see Hellblade again, they gave it away last year with Humble Monthly
GT is about driving
its also about racing but if you dont understand how to drive a car your not going to enjoy that part.
I think the AI is good on GT5P
im really looking 4ward to the full blown GT5 game even more after playing GT5P
Thats very well put that Gran Turismo focuses around the car and not the raw racing. I'm not a massive fan of the Grid demos driving physics but the online play was real raw and gritty.
GT stills feels too sterile for me playing online.
