One of the biggest reveals at the Sony Press conference at E3 2014 this year was inFAMOUS: First Light, a standalone expansion DLC for inFAMOUS: Second Son. inFAMOUS: First Light stars Fetch, Delsin’s right hand… woman… with Neon super powers. It will take you to many locales that you haven’t seen before and will show the story of inFAMOUS: Second Son from another point of view.

Fans of the action-adventure franchise have been eagerly awaiting news of a potential sequel to one of the best games on the PS4.
Umm ... how about this?
First we get the Tushima sequel(coz its most rumored)
Then a new Resistance (need new PS SP FPS)
Then a totally new IP (new IPs are always interesting)
And then a new inFamous?
I had a great time with the second son. Never got to play the originals and hope they get remastered one day.
If I had a choice between another Infamous game and another Spider-Man game, I choose Spider-Man. Sony should spend its resources on its winners.

Greysun writes: "The Essential Picks sale has started up today on the PlayStation Store for the PS4, so if you're on the lookout for some sweet deals, get your wallet ready!"

For decades, superheroes had the worst luck when it came to video games, the X-Men chief among them. There are a few welcome outliers—Raven Software’s X-Men Legends duology remains a classic, Wolverine’s game adaptation for his first solo movie has its silly charm, and you can still find the classic beat-’em-up cabinet in arcades everywhere—but there are more lows than highs, from Mutant Wars and X2: Wolverine’s Revenge, to the franchise’s last big stab at mainstream gaming respectability, 2011’s X-Men: Destiny. Sluggish and overwrought, the latter seemed to be the kiss of death for Marvel’s mutants, the precursor to their eventual fate years before they were kicked out of Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite. (Getting left out in the cold during Marvel’s big purchase by Disney probably didn’t help.)
Sony needs to remaster both infamous games for ps4/5. Incredible games with pretty easy platinum trophies.
I've actually thought the same thing and how Sucker Punch can expand this IP and have their own Xmen. I wish we get an sequel to Infamous 2's bad ending which gave everyone affected by the blast super powers
Yeah I really enjoyed the first and second one. Never before had I played a game that was like this.
A new experience and the for me as a new fan!
Im wondering if the graphics upgrade will carry over to the first game via a patch. I only played a little bit of the first game, then Watchdogs came out and sucked up my time. So, I think when I go back, Im going to start over and take it all in from the beginning, without interruption. I was really starting to enjoy the game, the further I got into it. I do think there should have been more interaction with the environment and the people in it and I also thought that when you cleared an area, that it should start to become more populated as people realize there is no more D.U.P. presence. Businesses should open up again and it should feel more alive. It would have showed purpose to the havoc you were causing and shown the results that all of your hard work accomplished.
Other than that, the game is a blast. Reminds me a lot of Crackdown, with a twist. Of course, this was my first Infamous game, so I have nothing else to compare it to... coming over from the Xbox camp last gen.
Very cool that the support for this game remains, almost five months out from its launch. Hopefully, all of the side characters will get DLC back stories. This is one of those games that would be a perfect candidate for episodes. Having cliffhangers at the end of each and leaving players always wanting more.
I think Second Son should not have been multiple powers. It should have been just Neon. I think when there are so many different powers, the upgrades seemed minimal i.e there was about 3 different attacks you could do with each power. I loved the game though and can't wait for a Neon only character as Neon was such an awesome power!
Can someone tell me if u need the game to play the dlc?if not then that would be kickass for me
Another amazing product by Sony for the most powerful next gen system... The PS4. Thank you Sony. Keep em' coming.
