I loved Resident Evil 4 back in the day and enjoyed Resident Evil 5 even though I had to do co-op to beat the final boss. Shiva was just too dumb.
Resident Evil 6 on the other hand, was so bad that I stopped playing after an hour in the game. That was before I even played any high-quality single-player games outside of Mass Effect, Portal, and Skyrim. I can't imagine playing RE6 now.
Chances are their next remake will be 5.
I just don't get why it's already on the platforms via BC unless it's a remake which would piss everyone off as fans are hoping for either the original game or code veronica to get the remake treatment

I liked the gameplay, sure maybe for a different IP, but it was really fun... just not right for RE. Story was decent, but the CoD inspired scripted events gotta go! Being so on the rails took out what little horror RE ever had, and just detracted from the amount of actual gameplay. (Sorry, never found them scary, just found them fun)
I enjoy Leon and Ada campaign. But if only they scrap Jake & Chris campaign, remove Helena and put Sherry / Ada / Claire / maybe Jill as Leon partner, cut the ammount of QTE, put some good puzzles, than i think it will be better than RE 5.
Main Problem is Capcom try to please everyone (action,adventure,horror,steal th) in one game
it's very hard to make everyone happy ( i don't know is kobayashi or inafune idea )

Just pure hot garbage. The game completed destroyed what little faith I had left in capcom to produce a great title. Good riddance Resident Evil, you had a good run. Hello evil within.
