If you want to call yourself a "hardcore gamer" you should be playing those games as well, its part of the video game history. if your going to be hiding what you play you shouldn't be considered a "hardcore gamer" at all. I actually played many video games thats intended for women only gamers and I actually thought many of them are very entertaining and a lot better then many of the titles that are aimed for men only and I had a blast playing them. I remember playing Barbie on nintendo nes and felt that game was pretty cool and very hard to beat. I own a wii fit also and actually enjoyed it.

I played in front of many women and didn't feel embarrassed about it.

it is fully understandable with these games as I haven't played a single game on the list, but the language seems like it was written by some guy in a loser frat. i imagine this is the same guy that thinks that drinking beer and jerking off to sailor moon is equal to playing a "hardcore game." they need to stop coming up with bs top ten lists. tomorrow i forsee "top ten ways to use your ps3 control other than to play videogames."

Wii Fit, isn't really about Fitness,

It's more about bringing an innovative way to interact with a game with your legs. you already have your arms with the wii controllers as it is.

And there are a lot of companies that are developing some pretty creative ideas.

the Sims,

This game is a simulation game, and simulation games can played however you want to. (for example, you can go around , and fighting with people, or killing your characters. or just enjoy the rpg aspect of the game (upgrading your character).

now, some of the expansions are a little girly, but the sims isn't a (just for women) game, even though many women play it.

I tried the Sims and it was fun for about a week. Got bored with it after that. Even my wife got bored with it. I've tried Wii Fit and actually liked that, but can't find enough time to use it on a regular basis. It does give you a halfway decent workout, especially if you are out of shape. So besides Wii Fit, I agree 100% with their list. You'll notice that most of the games are on the DS, as the DS is used by females more then any other game console or handheld.

Those Games Radar dudes seem pretty insecure in their masculinity. I play whatever games I think are fun, it doesn't make me more or less of a man. To me masculinity is about being secure about yourself and who you are, and not about having a stone-age understanding about what's masculine/feminine. That type of people are usually extremely prejudiced.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
