Let's hope it's as good as space marine was!

Cool another FPS that I play with.

I think it would have made awesome TPS in the same style as Gears... I mean the Space Hulks were the original guys with chainsaw guns lol.

ICANPLAYGAMES24337d ago

Actually, if memory serves correctly Warhammer terminators had storm-bolters, assault-cannons, heavy flamers, plasma guns, vortex rocket pod, power fists, lightning claws, thunder hammers, power swords, and chain swords, but no chainsaw guns (that I remember). I do agree with it making an awesome TPS, because I'd love looking at the character model.

Jdoki4337d ago (Edited 4337d ago )

Chaos Terminators have a Storm Bolter with Chain blade. (Gears doesn't have anything that looks like this)

And there are chainsaw and blade bayonets for standard Bolter's too. (Which is what reminds people a lot of the chainsaw gun in Gears)

On topic: Has this game been floating around for years in development? I am positive I heard about a 40K FPS years and years ago, but it never materialised

ICANPLAYGAMES24337d ago

@Jdoki - Yeah, I think you're right, I remember hearing something like that, too (I wonder if that is what ended up becoming Space Marine). I forgot about the chain blade bayonet (I remember that mostly from the Imperial Guard, but I won't argue your memory is better than mine), and there was always that weird cobbled-together Orc stuff, also.

Loved the warhammer last game, it was a good underrated title.

robert4337d ago

let's just hope its as good as space hulk vengeance of the blood angles.

Focus Home Interactive....darn it. Then it's gonna be a mediocre low-budget shooter ?

Was hoping for something like Relic's awesome Space Marine game a few years back.

That's fine. GT7 would overshadow it anyway at it has open wheel and regular cars.

Should have been spending their time updating Squadrons with better resolution, frame rate, haptics, etc as there isn't a game like that on PS VR 2 yet.

But it's EA. They don't think.

Babadook71096d ago

I agree. It would sell better on PSVR2 right now.

Knushwood Butt1097d ago (Edited 1097d ago )

A wasted opportunity, but I don't buy EA / Codemasters stuff anyway. Grid Legends just came out on Plus and I haven't touched it. Why would I when I have GT7 and PSVR2?

Abnor_Mal1097d ago

Not into F1 racing, but still a missed opportunity.

ApocalypseShadow1097d ago

That's where opportunity presents itself that they could offer something else that other developers haven't offered yet. Yeah. There's No Man's Sky. But a space game with a story would be great. Like the old days with Colony Wars.

Abnor_Mal1096d ago

Exactly, they could have possibly lured more players just from the inclusion of a vr mode.

I miss Colony wars and G-Police, Low-Fi I hope will scratch that itch when it releases. We also need a vr War/Starhawk game.

Knushwood Butt1096d ago

Just watched the trailer of Low-Fi. Most definitely on my radar.
