"E3 2014 is well behind us at this point, and Stealthy Box did a bang up job of bringing you the latest news from the show floor, if I do say so myself. We also ran some previews, giving us a fresh look at some of the biggest upcoming games for Fall 2014 and beyond.
In truth, though, that’s only a portion of the games that we saw during the week. The ones we detailed in our previews were the ones that we got the best look at, but the week was kind of a blur, truth be told. There are games that we saw in passing without a fancy-pants appointment, and some unexpected circumstances kept us from making any meaningful coverage from LA.
So in today’s Daily Five, we’re meeting in the middle. These are five games that we saw at E3 2014 that we didn’t get a good enough look at to write up bigger previews for, but that we want to talk about anyway. Enjoy!" - Joe Garcia

Alexander Morton, the Scottish actor probably best known for starring in British comedy drama Monarch of the Glen - but known to me for being the hilariously foul-mouthed dwarf Zoltan Chivay in The Witcher 2 and The Witcher 3 - has died aged 81.

The latest revenue report from CD Projekt Group shows Xbox only made up 10% of sales for The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 in 2025.
Hey it’s ok. They are really impressed with XBOx’s new CEO so exclusivity is on the way. 😂
Ok but I mean be logical ... modern PC, Switch, PS4 PS5 then you have XBOX, of all of those XBOX is probably only 10 percent... I mean, what do you expect? 10 percent increase in sales is still nothing to sneeze at, remember - this is CD projekt red and they sell a lot of software. 10 percent of their sales is probably what most studios DREAM of selling .... just playing devils advocate..... its easy to say LOL haha XBOX.... but.. I mean we know what it is at this point. I havent bought on since my xbox one X and before that I only used other peoples xboxes since the OG XBOX and stick with PC and Playstation and switch OLED, but .. I mean.... theres nothing WRONG with an xbox considering its just not the best - but they work fine. make no mistake.

The Outerhaven writes: While I hold Bethesda's The Evil Within series as some of the best Survival Horror games available, it's clear that Bethesda has no intention of revisiting the series. While Capcom is still working on its Resident Evil series, I look back at the now-dead survival horror series from Bethesda, wondering why the series was left wide open, and yet still not revisited.
An OK horror series left behind. It had some great ideas, but it never knew how to play to its strengths. Instead, it came out like just another RE4 clone.
I would love for a third entry to come out, but it needs to learn to lean in on the psychological aspect and move away from the generic "pew pew" ideology at the center of the gameplay loop. It doesn't need to abandon it; it just needs to put it into better context, is all.
Also, try a first-person perspective instead. Too many 3rd-person games with nothing to offer but an avatar taking precious screen space. At least make it an actual option and not that janky-ass mess the second game pretended to have.
