If there's one thing every gamer knows it's that you should never underestimate the value we'll ascribe to the tiniest things imaginable. Case in point: Destiny's exclusive alpha period on PS4. In the scheme of things it's just a matter of weeks. There's an open beta coming in less than a month on all the platforms. You'd think Xbox fans wouldn't be too bent about PS4 owners getting access to an alpha three weeks ahead of the open beta.

Destiny 2 x Star Wars collaboration is here! Get exclusive gear, cosmetics, and accessories when Heresy launches on February 4th. Don’t miss it!

The long-rumoured Destiny Mobile game from NetEase may finally be ready for reveal according to multiple leakers.
Phil Spencer talks candidly about missing out on both Destiny and Guitar Hero
So you're saying that Microsoft has missed out on so many huge gaming franchise in the last 25 years from GTA exclusivity to guitar hero and destiny it's just laughable they had so many misses
Best deal deal in gaming must be when Sony bought Insomniac for 229 million dollars. They made over 800 millions on Spiderman for the ps4 alone. Thats just crazy!
another Interview?
how is he the only one who loves the spotlight as much as he does lol
Let's not forget he also famously passed on Spider-man, Genshin Impact and GTA3.
However it's almost kind of cute how he can keep that sh1t-eating grin and say he's a 'no regrets' kind of guy, especially when you think how much just these 5 titles could have swung the world in Xbox's favour instead of Sonys.
How he's kept his job I don't know, he must sure be keeping Papa Nadella's shaft warm somehow.
"But, but Gamepass, he introduced that!!!"
Yes he did, and now look at Xbox, all it's exclusives are coming to Playstation now rendering the platform obsolete.
These developers aren't friends with us. At the end of the day they're in it for the money and whatever suites THEM. This is a similar situation on how Sony fans feel about Insomniac. Plus Destiny is a multiplaform game so I don't see why halo(another game) fans feel that they need to be entitled to the content that's releasing first on PS4. The whole practice of this time exclusivity isn't new and will not be going anywhere so people need to be patient if they have to wait for certain content to reach their beloved console of choice.
I think It's Activision NOT bungie .
Edit: i don't think ms is holding a grudge against bungie

I think sony fans have it worst because at least xbox fans are getting destiny. Insomniac who made exclusive games on playstation for almost twenty years and yet they're not releasing sunset overdrive on playstation at all.
Have you seen the Bungie Forums, they have been raging since Bungie first started to show more interest in the PS4.
It's pretty funny.
I mean does it matter, your going to get to play the game anyway.
Bungie doesn't hate MS fans...calm down. That's ridiculous. Companies do DLC exclusives and such all the time. By this logic, Turtle Rock, Ubisoft Montreal (for AC Unity), Activision for COD, Project Red and countless others hate PS fans.
It's a simple business transaction is all, happens all the time. PS heard that they were making Destiny, saw promise, and jumped at the chance to court Bungie...smart move on their part...it's a great looking game. If Bungie hated MS, they would have been exclusive, kept DLC exclusive, and added more benefits to the PS4 version. As it is, they are the exact same quality game (despite being able to easily release the X1 version at a lower res without needing to explain themselves). There is nothing tangible saying that they are playing favorites past the "lead platform" staples, but that is pretty common these days.
I seriously suggest that MS give this game dedicated server support on their own dime, and all those other "PS4 preferences" for this game will disappear.
"Hating them back" is really just an immature response that would only be good for gamers in the VERY VERY short term. In the long run, if you like Bungie products, and want them to show MS (or whatever console of preference) some love... entice them to by buying their products on that platform so they take it seriously in the future. Nothing speaks more to companies than profit. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if this article was a form of "black propaganda" ..an unknown author (or one pretending to be someone they aren't), and in this case trying to spread an idea that is in fact detrimental to the group they claim to be trying to help.
